Not quite what I thought
This is advertised as a 20' strap,which it is. Once I started reeling it in I realized it was too much line. It started rubbing on a mounting bolt. It was claer that a 20' strap was just too much. I ordered 12' strap and got what I was looking for.

My boat trailer came with this unit sonI bought same one to replace it with. Works well.

Easy fit, but doesn’t come with mounting bolts.
I was replacing the 10 year old winch on my jet ski trailer with this, the exact same winch. Install was easy but you will be your mounting bolts from your original setup since this didn’t come with any. 4 stars due to no bolts, maybe it stated that, but don’t care still stupid it didn’t come with any.

Best All Around
I buy a lot of these winches and the Dutton Laison is the best I’ve tried. Although most work ok, this one has the best finish and holds up the best in the salt water environment.

Cheaper than other places and works great.

Cheap garbage
After 11 months and in and out of the water maybe 12 times the gears have stripped. I am missing 4 teeth total. This was an exact replica of the original equipment on my 2017 16ft tracker. The first one lasted about as many uses. I am not winching the boat on to the trailer just snugging it down. Spend the extra couple dollars and save yourself the hassle at the ramp.
