ThunderRing Easy Tag Connectors, Grey (4 Rings)

These are great! I have a couple of dogs who like to roll around on blankets and rugs and were getting the metal split rings hooked into the fabric. It was terrible to see the little dogs dragging a rug or blanket attached to their collars! At first it was hard to figure out how these worked, but it is actually very easy to use them. Be sure to lock them well. I have been using these for a few months now, and these connectors have kept the tags secure. An added benefit is there is not nearly as much noise from the tags clanking with the metal rings.

The ring broke with less than 2 weeks use and the tags all fell off. It was not the latch that came undone, the ring itself snapped. I use a harness for my dog's leash, so the leash was not accidentally attached to the ring.

UPDATE: seems to wear very quickly. They could stand to use a higher quality material.Seems stronger/less likely to fall off than the usual split ring. Exactly what I needed.

I love these for tags, I can't believe how easy they were to use and I have no broken fingernails!About time!

We tried twice to use these rings to attach our dog's tags. The first time my wife came back from a walk and said it broke but I figured she must have accidentally clipped the leash to it. She swore she didn't, but I didn't believe her. She found all of the tags though so I tried again. Two days later we took our dog to doggy day care for a few hours and the ring and tags were missing when we went to pick her up, never to be found again. The doggy day care never put a leash on her so the ring must have failed while playing with the other dogs. So they are massively inferior to a standard split ring as far as I am concerned and we had to reorder all of our dogs tags. Stay away from these!

I bought these to connect my dog's tag to his collar. I used the smallest one. Unfortunately, it only lasted one day of two big dogs playing together. The mechanism is easy to work and the connection is secure. It didn't break at the connection, but in the ring itself. I have big dogs and they are hard on stuff so I hate to give this a bad review as not even garden hose stands up to them. I think these would work better with keys and for small, lower activity puppies. Or for clipping things to backpacks, etc. They are kind of thick, so you need a decent sized hole in the tag if you do use it for your pup.

I have quite a happy and rambunctious dog. He broke this is less than a week of having it. My other dog is also pretty hyper but not quite as rough as the first mentioned and his lasted a little bit longer. I used them both as a tag holder attached to the collar. I'm not completely bashing it because it can very week come on handy for many other things...

These tend to last my dogs about a year before they get bent or something of the like. I love that it makes their tags a little quieter and I feel more secure knowing it's attached with these.
