I am impressed!!
Not sure what I was expecting from a hammock in the economy field but this one exceeds anything that I was thinking. It is spacious, well built and so very comfortable. This is one hammock that will be making the camping trips with me. The netting is high quality very tight weave and will last for some time. The hammock itself is roomy and very comfortable. The daisy chain suspension is top notch and is ultra light and long enough to handle any tree out there. Daisy chain suspensions are the easiest to use. Lastly, if no trees are available it makes a great bug proof ground tent. I was very impressed with this one.

ha...escape ground rocks
brought this camping, was a bit skeptical because thinner than another i have, but worked very well. hammock has bit of stretch so hang high, tree straps great, did not try in tent mode, did remove poles to use as hammock flipped...worked just fine. mosquito mesh hardy... poles do not stay upright when hammock empty but great when loaded with person, poles stayed in place very well*just a note to fellow campers, tsa does not allow tent poles in carry on luggage, so if you are planning to fly you may need to check poles or you could simply string a line to keep mosquito mesh up. this has nothing to do with the product which i loved but tsa and flying. poles do fold down for packing.i had no rain but you should consider a rainfly/tarp to go with...and i found it great to have a mini tarp/ground clothi plan to buy another because perfect for easy pack, quick set up, and comfort

I have had more durable pantyhose than this.
I read every review and followed every suggestion. I even set it up in my yard to ensure there were no surprises. This week I went on a horseback expedition in the Jefferson Nat'l Forest, in rugged terrain, on long abandoned and defunct trails. The first night, we camped on a rocky mountain side without incident. I was mosquito free by the stagnant buggy intermittent creek. That was a huge win. My horse blanket and saddle were under the hammock. Night two, we found an abandoned encampment. After hours clearing and rehabbing the site, I finally set up my beloved hammock and crashed out. I do mean "crash". Two seconds in, my trail weary bones came tumbling out the bottom, head first. Thankfully, a teammate had a spare hammock that I was able to piggy back under my cracked equipment. Clipped into the carribeaner. I got through the night. The next day, I discovered that the original hole lined up with and appeared to be caused by the velcro on my 5.11 pants. Not cool. We kept camp there and just did a short day jaunt. The third night came the rain. Note that my rainfly more than adequately covered the straps. I've camped with other hammocks without incident. Not this time. The siphoned water poured in on both ends in unreal amounts. I gave up the ghost, crawled under the other fly over the saddles and gear, and slept. Thus ends the tale of my Etrol Hammock. I cannibalized the useful pieces and sent her off like an Appalachian viking. No point in returning or replacing since it's just too delicate and high maintenance. It certainly was not worth the weight and space for the remainder of the trip. I'm just glad this wasn't during a search and rescue mission. For folks that are assuming I must have drug it along the ground or whatever, I read reviews warning against this, and took care to keep it rolled in my rain fly, with my bed kit, which remained under it as I rigged it up. If it were made with ripstop or had some measure of weather resistance, like my $14 hammock has, I'd be more forgiving. Hit me up with those issues are fixed.

Well made
I ordered this hammock tent for a backpacking trip. We went into the high country where the bugs are horrible in the summer. It comes very compact and fits great in a pack. The best part about this tent/hammock is the bug net is tightly woven so even the smallest bugs can’t get in. It gives you a great piece of mind knowing your not going to be eaten alive while you sleep. The zippers are sturdy and stitched in very well. This is my go to for any camping trip in my future.

Absolutely surprised.
I've used this hammock for couple times and it really surprised me especially in the cool weather. The fabric is exceptionally soft and unlike other cheap hammocks, they look super. The straps are very long and strong, with plenty of loops to adjust the length. The carabiners are sturdy and lock securely. The hammock and straps easily fit back into the attached pouch for storage. The design of this hammock is very good. The aluminum support pole perfectly supports the mosquito net, which makes the space of the hammock very large. At the same time, when people lay on it, they will not become a "taco" like the hammock I bought before.I also love the second function of it ! Because it can be turned into a hammock in ordinary form, only need to remove the support rod, it is very convenient.All-around great product for a great price. We liked it so much. Highly recommend!

Great but can still get bit through bottom of hammock.
Overall great so far. I would highly recommend especially for the price. My only complaint and reason for a loss of one star is that the bottom of the hammock is very thin, so thin that mosquitos still ended up biting me through it. Once I slept in a sleeping bag or something for added layer I wasn't bothered again. Even so I still would recommend this hammock.

Great to have and great for kids
Very nice product with net that prevents bugs or mosquitos. It comes with everything you need to hang on the tree and pretty durable even with me and my kid together. Perfect for outdoor camping and kids enjoy the fun of it. Strongly recommend for kids who love to play in park or camping !

Looks great, bad quality, broke after 2nd use.
Tree straps are far too stretchy, had to replace with some that keep the hammock off the ground. One of the poles snapped after the second use of the hammock, while I was sat in the hammock. The zipper teeth are already not meshing very well and snag when I open and close the fly net.Over all its definitely not what I would have expected for the price. A £15 hammock that I bought almost a year ago lasted longer, I only decided to upgrade so I could have a fly net.I will be returning the item for a refund.
