Voltage Converter 2000W Step Up Step Down UK to US Transformer with 2 US & 2 UK outlets for 220V-110V & 110V-220V

Bought this for an appliance that was 110v. I decided on getting this one as it was several times higher in wattage than my appliance ( good rule of thumb )and so far no issues at all. No humming and no getting hot. The weight is ok.. so far I'm well happy

Product worked but the manufacturing is poor quality. I had to replace it twice now in the last 18 months. Seller was helpful but the second time it broke it was no longer eligible for return. I would recommend something higher quality. As you can see in the video i captured some smoke coming out of it when it broke again.

This transformer is working well with my 1010 W portable air conditioner. It needs to be off the carpet so it doesn't overheat. I also have a fan blowing on it so it doesn't overheat. The first time I used it I placed it on the carpet. After 10 hours it overheated and the circuit breaker tripped. So I learned not to place it on the carpet because the bottom needs air circulation too. Now I have it on a stool and I use the fan too. Now it doesn't overheat. I think you wouldn't want to travel with it as it is a bit heavy. It will be good when I move back to the United States as I can use it with my 220 V appliances too.

It works! It's efficient It is compact Saves me electricity costs The U.S. plug sockets were very very stiff to use for first few times but now just a good secure tight fit The front panel where the sockets are is a bit Flexi when you are pulling plugs out but using 2 hands and just keeping it in place does the trick nicely At first we thought the sockets too small for our American gadgets so my husband used an adapter just in case but I just really pushed them into the sockets and they are spot on now! WOULD BUY AGAIN

Very effective and surprisingly quiet.

Bought a 2,000 watt transformer to convert a 1,300 watt 110v Shop vac. The converter kept tripping after a few minutes. Startup surge did not cause a trip. I bought a second identical transformer for another location for the same model shop vac. It had no problems. When I contacted the seller, their initial excuse was that I needed to get a transformer that was rated 50% higher than the appliance. When I pointed out that the unit was rated more than 50% higher they changed their story and said that for a 1,300 watt vac I needed to buy their 5,000 watt transformer - meaning rated at 4 times the appliance - because of the startup surge. They ignored the fact that the transformer worked for a few minutes after startup. They also ignored the fact that a second unit had no problems whatsoever. Despite being covered by their warranty their solution was to offer a 20% discount on the larger model. In a nutshell they will not honour your warranty for a defective unit or one that fails during the warranty and their load ratings are nonsense. Be warned.

Product arrived on time, is as advertised and does what it is required to do. Only used twice so far but very happy.

Just right for me. Looks good , Power outs OK. Now the bad bit. The Royal mail does it again. A whopping great chassis dent, on one side. Duh... I could have sent it back, but decided to panel beat the dent out. If the seller reads this, change your delivery method. Otherwise great seller. ps. going great on my zojirushi 110volt bread maker, doesen't even break a sweat.

استخدمته لمكيننة القهوه الامريكيه ١١٠ فولت ،١٧٠٠ واط ولكن يفصل ٥ الى ٦ مرات من الفيوزات واعيد تشغيله حتى انتهي من عمل القهوه، ..لا انصح به لتشغيل جهاز قوته ١٧٠٠ واط لانه لا يدعم ٢٠٠٠ واط كما في الوصف
