I am feeding two toddlers and so I try to chop my vegetables very fine. I also am really busy and don’t have a lot of time for cooking. So for a year I have been looking for a chopper that will chop vegetables very fine, can chop hard vegetables like carrots, and it’s easy to clean. I have tried the alligator grid chopper and a mandolin that dices, but both did not chop the vegetables as small as I wanted, and were hard to clean. I finally tried this chopper and I am so happy with it! You can control the size of the chopping by how many times you pull the cord. You can pull the cord a few times for a rough chop, or as many times as you want to get a finer and finer size. It worked great on a hard vegetable like carrot, and I have used it with great success for onion, zucchini, chopping parsley and basil very fine, mincing ginger and mincing garlic. I have made several meals and I’m very happy with it. Probably the most challenging part is cleaning the lid, which is not supposed to be submerged in water. I imagine getting it wet would interfere with the cord pulling mechanism. I wipe it down right away before the food residue dries up. I also had to read the instructions in order to figure out how to remove the bottom white attachment in order to pull off the protective blade cover. I always use the chopper with the white attachment at the bottom because it allows you to chop the vegetables finer… As it rotates it scoops the vegetable pieces upwards towards the blades so they can be chopped. Of course, the blades are very sharp so you have to be careful when handling and washing it. I have already recommended this chopper to friends!

This lil gizmo is fantastic!! Doesnt slide on the counter and holds a good amount. You get a lil bit of a workout, but sometimes you want to yank something productively 🎊 My roommate took this in the move and I got to buy another, 10/10 would recommend if you got the arm strength 💪 (don't need to be a bodybuilder, but maybe rethink if disabled)

Put your food processor away! This handy food chopper is perfect for all food chopping and does not require any extra equipment or electricity. We use it for onions, chicken, ham, beef, peppers and anything that needs chopping. So easy!

Have purchased a number of different ones with differing mechanisms to engage chopping. Very effective/efficient compared to all others. Have to chop/ground all foods for all meals every day. Use it a few times a day. My only criticism is that water gets into the hole out of which the pull string comes and eventually rots it. It breaks. We go through about 3 a year, but it gets a beating, the little thing. I continue to purchase it, and wish you could just order the lid with the handle and string. Blades and container are very hardy.

Had a cheaper version of this for years and used it often, it finally fell apart and I decided to give this one a try. The last one was great, but this one is a LOT better, well made, and chops things up nice and fine in seconds. The last one was difficult to clean and had spots that were difficult to wash - this one is super easy to clean, and without any spots that are hard to clean or where food gets trapped. The blades are a lot sharper, and it does a much quicker job of things. Highly recommended!

My wife loves this fantastic food chopper! Cuts down the time of chopping drastically and best of all no tears while chopping onions. Blades are very sharp so be careful when cleaning. Even used it to beat some eggs which surprisingly turned out alright.

Why did no one tell me about this little gadget years ago?! It is going to change my life in the kitchen and save so much time! I cook a lot. I'm always chopping vegetables and I hate it. I also have carpal tunnel so all that time chopping really takes a toll on my hands. This little chopper is amazing! I used it tonight for the first time to make chilli. In my chilli, I wanted to sneak in some veggies as my family don't eat enough. I chopped some mushrooms very finely and cauliflower (sounds weird, but it works). The vegetable pieces were so small that once they were in the chilli and left to simmer for a bit, they disappeared. My husband HATES cauliflower - detests it and he didn't even notice them in the chilli. I also used leftover cauliflower to make cauliflower rice and it was so easy compared to me trying to chop it up with a knife. The best part of my meal? Making guacamole. In the past, I've had to dice the tomatoes really small and even then, my child would pick them out. This time, I used the chopper to cut up the tomatoes til they were almost a sauce and then added lemon juice and avocado. The consistency was so good and delicious. My daughter loved it. I can see myself having a very happy life with this little chopper and will use it for sauces, smoothies and maybe even baking (e.g grinding nuts or oats)

I really like this little chopper. I have used it for nuts, cat food, making bread crumbs and all manner of things. Very easy to use and no batteries to replace. It's sturdy and will cope with most things that need chopping as long as you don't need loads as it is a mini chopper after all.
