Excellent portable high quality additional screen
I bought the Elecrow portable screen to use with my laptop as an additional screen to use for work. I have now had this product for 2 weeks. It is excellent! It is very high quality and comes with a range of cables to give various options to power it up including USB C to USB A, USB C to USB C, HDMI to mini HDMI and also a power supply. The screen cover with a cover which is used as the stand which is very easy to use and also convenient to pack away which is handy if you do not have much space in your property like me. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't by this if I got to examine it prior to puchase
It is impossible to use it in vertical position. It has plugs and buttons on each side and the picture of it being used this way is misleading.It is the exact same resolution as any other monitor of this type out there so nothing special here.For the same price you can get touchscreen enabled one this one isn't, but the matrix is mat and that was important to me so that is the only positive.The multifunction button is ridiculously flimsy, case is only magnetic so can’t be used for anything but cover and specific angle stand (can't grip by it as you will drop the screen). Build in speakers are not better than any laptop or even mobile phone speakers so seriously don’t get the point here.I feel I made a massive mistake buying this item.

Quality control may be an issue - but good high res screen
It arrived in the stated timeframe but the bottom of the screen was damaged.. the aluminium frame was bent at one corner and separating! - I have taken photos.I emailed the seller and they got back to me within 24 hours and offered a replacement. As it’s coming from China I will update this review once it arrives.I use this with a MacBook Pro and the screen is 1080p at maximum resolution, bright and very useable.Apart from the problem above, the actual look of the device is very nice... metal with chrome highlights. Looks great on the desktop.The best bit is that screen folds up easily and is very portable - it fits in my laptop bag with my laptop.

Good monitor just let down by a few issues
Overall a good monitor. Just has a few issue which I didn't like.1)Build quality is suspect and feels a little on the flimsy side2) only works with usb c devices like my Chromebook or Huawei phone. Any full size usb devices need to be via hdmi and power plugged in.3) quite fussy with usb cable and out of 6 USBC ones I have only 3 worked with it.4) speaker are not loud enough as only 1w but at least there are some.Otherwise when working great. Viewing angle good, crisp image and option to use as a hdmi monitor and very portable.Great to use with my switch

lightweight & wouldnt be without it
i bought this as an additional monitor to work from home due to Cv19. its very lightweight, an ideal size and wouldnt be without it now. screen quality is good, its slightly on the dark side & not very bright, but that could be down to mw not having worked out how to adjust brightness yet. happy with purchase & would recomend

Not as good as it looks
The monitor has a very nice design and appears initially to be of great quality. It is capable of being powered by the same USB C cable that delivers the picture and audio allowing for a single cable setup. However, a few things let it down for me. Firstly, the brightness is only acceptable when on full and every time you power down the screen the settings reset which means you have to put the brightness back up all the time. Doing that is fiddly with the small controls. Secondly, the stand allows for limited viewing angles and the screen itself quickly looks washed out if you’re not looking straight at it, so finding the right position for it on a desk is not easy. Finally, my unit had a screen flicker that meant whenever there were horizontal black lines on the screen (say on an Excel spreadsheet) the whole row of pixels would flash on and off persistently. In the end this problem made the screen unusable for me so I had to return it.

excellent second monitor for my laptop
Not super bright but quite adequate. Construction is solid. Works in any orientation, is very slim and has little bevel.Power is not quite enough with USB so it seems to need the HDMI for picture separte.For the price, perfect,

Constantly flicks on and off
Trying to use this as a second screen for work - worked fabulously for about 3 days and since then it constantly flickers on and off, occasionally not even working at all. I unplug and replug in all the cables, switch computer off etc. Today it has just not worked at all - very disappointing given the cost of the product.
