Camping Requirement
Outstanding! I grew up with my Dad using a Mag Light all the time, due to the brightness it could provide, it being manufactured in the USA and the weight of it making it feeling sturdy enough to act as a club in a pinch. That’s one reason why I bought this LED Mag Light before going on a 3 day camping trip and it worked beyond expectations. I was worried due to reviews if the quality went down but it didn’t. On one hand, I was able to adjust the area of light, which allowed me to adjust how focused the beam was. This is something I’ve always admired with Mag Light Flashlights. The 3 battery Mag Light was the perfect size for me to carry with me and felt sturdy enough just in case I needed it for protection. I have only used it for a few weeks, so I can’t talk about longevity. I’ll make an edit if something happens to the flashlight later on. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Surprisingly good
This is the first Maglite led flashlight I’ve used. Prior to this I had been converting my 90s era 3-4 Dcells with Malkoff drop ins, and those were really well made, really bright drop ins, but he’s stopped making them and my old Maglites were gradually dying out from battery damage, switch failure etc. So I took a chance on this new Maglite and it is very bright. It’s lighter gauge than the old ones and a little smaller, but generally a great light. Only downside I see is its cost. Might not be a bargain, I’m not sure what other cheaper lights are out there that would perform as well.

Awesome flashlight
Bought this and couldn't be happier. The light is very bright, brighter than the independent l incandescent version I owned before. This version (3D) is a great size and pretty heavy.
