Zombicide Invader: Black Ops Expansion

The only thing "zombie" about the Invader series is the rules system from regular Zombicide, which I have never plated before. Pretty awesome though. Can play a game in about an hour, fast setup, and very straightforward rules. Lots of scenarios in the box, and online, but you can easily make up your own too. Balance is pretty good; enough challenge that you have to pay attention and strategize, but not so much that it ever feels unfair. Expansions mix and match well. Minis are very nice (maybe 1 notch below GW, but definitely a notch above most other boxed game minis) and it's an excellent value considering the quality and amount of everything in the box. It's 40k for those of us who don't want to dedicate our entire lives and paychecks to a game.

WOW! CMON is an excellent game company. . The packaging is really neat. The figures are very highly detailed and are absolutely awesome and they were a lot of fun to paint. I can't say enough about this game. I love it. I have been inspired by the minis in this game, what characters and the imagination I use when playing surprises me as this game is easy to narrate. The characters are where this game excels, they are just so playable and you start to care about what happens to them. My kids are also fascinated by this game. The Maps are beautiful and there is a lot of detail in them. I really liked the fact that each character has a personnel room. The only downside is that the maps are not to scale with the minis. The minis are a just a wee bit to big for it. But that's where the imagination and creativity part comes in. I am now in the process of building a workable 3d gaming map to scale with the minis because there is so much more story that needs to be told. The rule book is beautiful, full of wonderful pictures and the rules are so simple it makes the game a cake walk. I am very happy with this game and the quality of it. Great job CMON.
