Infinity IYASHI Massage Chair

I've had this for 40 days. I liked my doctor friend's Infinity chair and decided to get myself a better, latest model during Christmas. I wish I had picked the older, traditional design Infinity model. CON: I am 5' 7" and I feel cramped. Because of the fully-encased design, the back does not decline. Instead, the whole body flips over while the hip angle is at steady position. What is weird, is when doing so, the foot piece automatically moves toward your body (I think this is maybe so that the foot is above the heart, which is I guess what zero-gravity means.) In fact, the foot piece moves toward you automatically when I try to do other moves. This could be fixed by manually extending the foot unit (against the machine's wish). But then, it is annoying to do this every time while trying to enjoy the massage. The "auto" pre-programmed routine is rather limiting. The max time is now 30-min, as opposed to 40-min in the other model I had tried. After that, it automatically shuts down and go back to the initial position. The "extend" program is less satisfying than that of the other model because this one extends the knee rather than the lower back. PRO: I like the look. It looks as if I have a airline 1st class seat in the room. The build quality is solid and the encased design requires less rear clearance. OVERALL: The 1st week, I seriously considered returning and exchanging with the other traditional-looking model (which is cheaper). But I was told the restocking fee along was more than a thousand $$. Plus, it was not easy to bring it up to the master bdrm and I did not want to repeat. Thus, I am keeping this Iyashi and am using it almost every day. It is not as satisfying as I had hoped but gives me a decent massage. My suggestion for anyone seriously considering this, is to try this particular model and compare with the other Infinity models before you buy. Hope this is helpful.

We love this chair. I love the foot rollers and the extra long massage track that gets all the way down to the seat. I gets all my kinks out from the day and helps me sleep better at night. The chair had some minor problems but when I called Infinite Therapeutics (the company that makes the chair), they were so helpful!! The problems were tricky to diagnose, but their tech support was willing to spend as much time as needed. They were so knowledgable and professional it was a pleasure working with them. The test of a product is their customer support and they've got it right. My calls and e-mails were immediately returned and I felt like they truly wanted to make sure I was satisfied as a customer. I would definitely do business with them again.

Research the benefits of this chair vs the cost. A great value. This is a serious machine. Not for those looking for a light massage.
