These 2.5mm ceramic ball bearing were used to replace the OEM synthetic ruby bearings that came in the Elecom HUGE trackball. There was a noticable decrease in the trackball friction once I replaced the ruby bearings. Very happy with these - 5 stars!

Swapped the bearings on my Elecom Huge. A little bit of graphite powder, and ten minutes of breaking in, and the static friction of my Huge--which was making precision movements basically impossible--is all but gone. If you own an Elecom trackball, just do it.I'll update this review if I manage work up the bearings to drill out the rubies of my Bitra as well.

It won't turn your trackball into a Ploopy, but it will help make your Elecom Huge a pleasure to use.Don't stop at this bearing swap though. These things really shine when lubricated with graphite powder and after rubbing the trackball ball with wax paper. With these three mods, the friction in small movements was nearly eliminated.

These bearings are absolutely essential for the longevity of the aforementioned trackball, and should be bought along with it. If other people you know want to get said trackball, then you can spare them a purchase of the bearings because you will have enough to replace them in two more trackballs. Just be advised that these are easy to lose, so take care when getting them out of their bag and installing them. For that, you are advised to use a microfiber cloth to keep them from rolling around your work surface, and you MUST use scotch tape to hold these replacement bearings in place when reassembling the mentioned trackball. When everything is secured, you should see the bearings remain in position after taking off the tape. You will save yourself plenty of frustration and time.

Bought these to replace the bearings in my Elecom Huge trackball mouse. I thought it was pretty smooth to begin with but I bought the bearings and the mouse at the same time so might as well do the mod. Man do they make a world of difference. Gonna see if they fit in my Logitech Marble trackball and use them in it too.I have no way of judging how dimensionally accurate these are, but they worked great for my use-case.

I put these into my truck paul to replace the original uneven Ruby bearings. These are definitely smoother and rounder than the originals.

I ordered these several months ago when I bought my Elecom Deft Pro Trackball based on recommendations I had read, but neglected to install them until recently. Based on this I can say that while the stock ruby bearings might have improved with use a touch, the difference that these made is dramatic. I don't know that I've encountered another trackball as smooth.

Used these on my Deft Pro trackball after being frustrated with Defts artificial ruby bearings. While not an easy swap, these have made a night and day difference, very pleased!

I used these as a replacement for the stock "ruby" bearings in the Elecom Huge trackball mouse. It was suggested online that it makes a huge difference - so far I'm impressed.Can't speak to their other uses, but these worked perfectly for what I needed them for.

They're G10 precision, but you can get even better than that
