K&N High-Flow Original Lifetime Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Washable, Industrial Replacement Filter, Heavy Duty: E-9289

I highly recommend this filter to 2012-2014 Ford Focus owners.1) Installation took about 2 minutes: remove 4 bolts on the airbox lid, pull out the old yellow filter and pop in the new one.2) The intake sound is noticeably louder, but only when accelerating. Cruising, even at 75mph, is still the same.3) I never really pay attention to fuel economy, but I'm now averaging about 31mpg combined. That is probably a bit better than what I was getting with the stock filter.4) In terms of performance, the powerful pull from the engine is happens earlier (at lower RPMs) which is nice for accelerating onto the freeway. I can't tell if there is any difference at higher RPMs, but it sounds awesome.

Easy drop in for 2012 Ford Focus Titanium. This along with snorkel delete (Google it) helps smooth the throttle a noticeable amount. I personally put the end cap back on. Works better off, but it is pretty loud and gives weird sounds now and then at certain rpms. I'm sure the younger guys/gals will prefer the end cap off.

Fits right into the escape airbox. Remove the lid and leave it off. Much better throttle response and you get to hear the turbo at part/mid throttle.Girlfriend loves the sound and it was a two minute install. No I'll effects and it's primarily for sound.

Fits just like the factory filter. You don't need to buy the expensive one that includes a different lid. Increases the turbo and air intake sound slightly. No performance or fuel mileage gains.

It is K&N... I installed it today and it went in smoothly... I will see if it adds pep on acceleration and helps my mpg.Update: 130 mile round trip, about 15% city63 miles there, no traffic, 41.6 mpg, with 70 and 75 mph highway drivingTrip back had more city miles due to one stop, more traffic in school zonesTotal 39.9 mpg for the trip... a gain of 1-2 mpg over my normalPerformance was better from a stop, noise was noticeable with heavy acceleration, coasting was better-less friction?, better around town mpgOverall... test run was very good, I will check/ clean the filter more often then recommended

This dropping is a must for anybody has a SE sport package Ford Focus 2016 it makes it sound like a beast like it should give you a few horsepower and burns the ricers anybody who says you can't get a few horsepower from a drop in is a lie if this fits your Ford Focus this is a must-have take that snorkel off Google it you won't be disappointed how to take the cap off as well you'll have everybody looking at you when you pull off wow what is that one of the hood that was not supposed to sound like that try me eat that Flex Fuel bro
