Did some surf fishing and it worked as expected no issues. We also did some pier fishing and we had the line fail twice, once for myself and the other for my son. Now I can't tell you how big the fish was but it pulled hard and felt like it was just going to keep taking the line. My reel looked and felt like it was going to break off the rod and then the line snapped. This line held up pretty good for its lbs rating.....

Ok, I use Braided line a lot and I use mono line a lot. I have an ocean trip coming up and needed a big spool of braided line. I bought the 40lb braided line from this company. As per my usual deal I put it through a weight test. This line will not even lift 30lbs. On multiple tries. I even went further into the spool thinking the surface line might have been degraded to no avail. It did lift 25lbs one time out of 4 tries. 20lb yes. So I'd rate the line at maybe 17lbs since my 15lb mono lines can lift 20lbs. Also, the color will be quick to fade as it rubs off in your hands. I haven't even spooled this line on a reel yet and at this point not sure if I will. It's junk and a waste of money.

Held up great to a 42” redfish, 5’ blacktip shark and never lost a hook using this line. Very high quality stuff. Only issue was the wet line dripping pink dye onto the side of the boat. But I was able to catch it quick and it wiped off.I love the ability to track the depth of line out by how many different colors come off the reel.

I had high hopes for this braid by viewing the ratings and reviews, however it disappointed me from the moment i started to spool it onto my reels. The actual spool felt like it was very shy of the 1000' spoil i purchased so i was hesitant at first to use it. Once i started spooling it onto my reels, it turned my hands, rod eyes, and reel blue.... I tie an old rack around my rod to keep tension on the line while spooling at it also was turned blue. Then there was the moment i tied it on, the 50lb knot broke twice... so i field test the line with my scale and it snapped at 24lbs.... the next day i decided to put it to the test in the surf and casting the line with a 4oz weight was sub par at best. I couldn't reach the breakers and had to wade 30-40 yards to accomplish my destination. the line was very stiff, and

You can't complain about this line much for the price, particularly with how much you get to a spool.It's a good quality braid,definitely strong. I'd much rather replace a bent hook after a snag than a whole lure. After several uses it's holding up with no fading or fraying.I took one star off because it doesn't come off the bail when casting as smooth as I would like so it doesn't cast quite as far as it could without the extra effort. That little extra tension casting made my baitcasters want to backlash a little more. Works pretty perfect on my spinning reels though.Overall a really good deal for the price considering what name brand braids go for.

So far this line has been very good to me. I have landed many 30-40lb fish with no issues. Very tough to break when you get hung up. Not sure how it will fair with a lot of use as I respool my reels fairly often. I did however notice the color fading with minimal use. I bought the yellow. Will I buy again. Oh yeah. Fish don’t care what color the line is

I received the wrong item when my package arrived. I got the 10lb -100 yd spool instead of the 10lb -1000 yd spool. I contacted the seller through Amazon and the seller sent me the correct item. The seller told me to keep the wrong item and said just use it and don't worry about sending it back. Great customer service. I like the line for panfishing. Holds up well. Don't know if the 10lb test is good for bass or bigger game fish, but for panfish, its great and casts a mile with 1/32-1/16 jigheads with a light rod with little effort.

Since getting into fishing a few years go I've always used mono line. I'm always looking for new things and my lure fishing seems best suited to a braided line. I was not disappointed - the lack of stretch gives you more feel and control of your lure and this line seems to be less visible than the mono lines I have previously used. It is more difficult to manage in some ways as it is lighter and can tangle a bit more than mono, but with some practice this is not a problem. It was easy to wind into my reel and the end result was 3 decent Pike (with a wire trace) which I was very happy about :)

great fishing line. i like the multi colored line its breaking strain is accurate and the line is so thin and none stretchingmakes for a good line to feel everything that's going on under water.it casts great and cuts through the water better than normal filament type line we worth a try

Horrible to cut.

I bought this for a friend who then used it to catch mostly seaweed. It casts really well giving much better distance than monofilament even for a total novice and also doesn’t catch the wind as much either. Excellent price.

Nice and smooth for 4 strand braid. Dosen't loose color easily and match the stated diameter. Happy with the order will buy again.

Ho acquistato questo fila da pesca proprio perchè, come da titolo, cercavo un filo resistente che non si rompesse al primo "incaglio" e che riuscisse a tenere anche su pesci di grosse dimensioni.Posso dire che il filo in qustione ha esaudito le mie richieste, il filo risulta essere duro e resistente. Lo si nota subito appena preso in mano. L'ho testato in più battute di pesca e devo dire che non ho avuto nessun problema, anzi.E' stato semplicissimo anche inserire il filo al mulinello, rispetto alla classica lensa che tendeva ad arrotolarsi su se stessa, con il filo in questione non ho avuto affatto questo problema.Mi sento quindi di consigliarlo a chi cerca un filo forte e resistenze per la sua pesca
