Annika Maya Cake Eyeliner (Black)

This eyeliner looks like a medium-dark reddish brown when wet, but dries to a beautiful, deep espresso brown. It's as dark as I hoped, giving an intense line that is softer than black. I plan to order another for my travel kit.

The best eyeliner I have purchased since using Mary Kay cake eyeliner. I have recently purchased 2 other cake eyeliners that rated well recently and they didn't come near the quality of Annika. I will definitely purchase again.

I have always preferred cake eyeliner, but it got really hard to find as pencils (which melt and smear with body heat) and gels became more popular. I finally found this one and it's wonderful. It is truly black, not grey or charcoal. The thickness of the line is easy to control, and the intensity is consistent. I found you do have to re-moisten the brush for each eye. It dries quickly and stays in place until you take it off. It came off easily with soap and water; I use a clean microfiber cloth every time I remove make up. Any residue left on the cloth comes out in the laundry.

Love this eyeliner. Creamy, semi waterproof ands looks much better than liquid eyeliner or pencils that have to be sharpened. You can smudge it a little but it does not run if your eyes water. Very, very black, which I like. Get a nice slanted tip brush and go easy on the water for best results. .This little pot will outlast many of those liquid pens that we all know dry out very quickly. What else can I say? It's a very good product.

I have been using cake eyeliner since Twiggy and it's nearly impossible to find in the stores but combined with a new eyeliner brush I'm really happy with this product. The cool part is that it doesn't come off as easily as what I've been using, so I can't recommend this more.

I am not a fan of this eye liner. It has a weird texture and goes on unevenly. I use a thin paint brush to apply my eyeliner, and even with the professional brush it looks lumpy and uneven. Choose another brand.

Doesn’t flake off, but washes off easily. Can control darkness by adding more or less water. Excellent product. Brown is a pretty chocolate shade.

It’s doesn’t stay in place and after a little while it starts to powder off and get into your eyes! Not a good product!
