RH-0570BK-2-A Strap Handle with Black End Caps - Set of 2

2-pack Reliable Hardware Company RH-0570BK-2-A Strap Handle Set have metal strip carry handle for durability with rubber coating for comfort. Metal mounting caps have four small pins on each that will contact mounting surface for gripping (probably for leather, or other soft surface). For my project, I filed these down for mounting on a hard plastic surface. Nice, inexpensive choice to add or replace a carry handle.

This is a replacement handle for a suitcase. The original is of a similar build but was way inferior in quality compared to this. It does not come with any bolts or rivets, I used some nuts, bolts and washers I had on hand and installed it in minutes. Inside the rubber exterior is a heat treated steel strip which will stand up well and last a long time. It is meant to be a direct replacement for a suitcase handle and it fits and works perfectly. As a bonus, you get two handles, so I have a spare for future use.

Easy to install and woks very well

Nice cheap straps for very light speaker cabinets, love the price, but straps are very narrow. Looking at the 10+ amplifiers and speaker cabs in my music area, every single one with a strap has a much wider strap. Just feels better in the hand, even for this lightweight sub 15 lb project. Note also that there are barbs on the bottom of the metal clamps, which bite into whatever you're mounting to. Which is fine by me, but does leave small holes.

It's good enough to serve its purpose. It does come with a metal band insert in the rubber handle but does not come with screws. I am happy with purchase.

Purchased this handle for a game piece case that I made. It ended up being too long for my application. It is very easy to shorten it if you have tools to work with the spring steel strap inside the vinyl rubber. The vinyl part cuts easily with a scissors. To cut the steel strap inside you'll need tin snips to cut it to length and then something to cut a slot in it. I used a drill press to drill holes at each end of the slot and then a Dremel tool to cut away the area between the two holes. Bottom line is you can make this any reasonable length and it works great, very strong. I like that it stays in the open position when you lift it and with a gentle tap it snaps back into a flat position (see photos).

Simple handle with metal reinforcement in rubber hand grip which was a great feature.

For the price, I got 2 handles. One was all I needed and it works great. Just be aware it does NOT come with any screws so that was another trip to local hardware store. Could not find any black headed screws so ended up with silver headed screw on black handle.

Ordered them to install on a heavy subwoofer requiring to move often. Worked out very well, solid metal strap covered with rubber sleeve. Used thickest screw fits the hole, with 2 straps on sides have no issues holding the weight. Very good and recommended.

They come unassembled for no reason at all. Mine came broken as well. Ended up just using the rubber part
