Good Quality - Look Forward to Using for a While
Bought this because I was looking for a nice notebook to keep recipes in after I saw a friend doing the same. I picked this one because I liked the grid-style pages and the elastic closure. The only con that I can see with this notebook is that it's not as super sturdy as I would expect - if I press on the front cover there's a little bit of rippling, so it seems to me like the cover is not attached as fully to the cardboard core as I would like. That doesn't really affect my use of it though. When I open it to any specific page, the left side doesn't stay totally flat unless I've spent a while pressing it down to write, but it also doesn't try to close itself like a lot of others do. If you open closer to the middle pages, like around page 62, it stays open much better. The page thickness and quality seems nice, and I really like the grid style because it makes it so much neater to write in. I've attached pictures of the outside of the journal and two examples of pages, one unwritten and the other with writing in two different inks. The dots of the grid aren't overwhelming to me and don't distract from what's written. A lot of y'all here in the comment sections of the journals care a lot about page quality and how it's affected by writing utensils. I don't know what the gsm is but I can tell you about writing on it. I used a sakura gelly roll pen for the blue ink in my picture, and I was careful to let it dry for a couple seconds while I switched pens so had no smearing. The black ink is a easy-glide ballpoint pen which usually doesn't smear on even regular school-quality notebook paper. I noticed after writing for a while with the ballpoint I had ink smears on the side of my hand, but none on the paper itself.Overall I recommend this journal; might update in the future with any changes because I've had it for less than a week now.EDIT: A day or two after this review was first posted, Jumping Fox customer service contacted me to let me know that the issue I had with rippling is being looked over in their factories to make sure it doesn't get past quality control, so I don't think that'll be an issue for buyers in the future. Customer service was very responsive and very nice, and I will be buying again from them when I need a new notebook. Also wanted to update that now that I've written more in the journal, I've had no problems with pages lying flat after they've been written on.

sleek and affordable
I started journaling up again very recently and was in search for a new journal asap! This journal fits the kind of journal i would use on a day to day basis. It is affordable and sturdy to a point! the pen test indicated no leakage at all with the types of pens and markers i use on a daily basis. There is minimal ghosting, but it’s really hard to tell unless you point it out. I would not recommend using paint though! Perforated pages at the end came in really handy when i made a mistake to use paint shown in my “playlist” page. (Although it’ll be really cool to see if they created paint sturdy pages in the future!) The pocket comes in really handy when it came to storing cut up magazine pages and storing them in the journal for a later mood board page! To wrap it up, if you’re looking for a quality, sturdy, and affordable journal, this is it!

Gorgeous and great quality
Great notebook. I had no expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cover is gorgeous - hardcover, textured, beautiful color - and the edges are foiled! The paper itself is good quality - holds up with no bleeding but some ghosting with juicier markers.

It’s such a beautiful and well-designed journal
A few things have really impressed me. The cover color is absolutely gorgeous! It’s hard to describe, but the look and feel of this cover is very special – nothing like the common faux leather covers or any cover I’ve seen. The purple is close to mauve but with a very faint pinkish sheen; very beautiful. Finally another notebook that comes with detachable sheets at the back and numbered pages other than Leuchtturm 1917. The paper is nice and thick. I’ve written with a Pilot rolling ball pen and no bleed through. The edges are gilded with a champagne gold color which is a nice touch, and I love the little fox on the cover. The notebook arrived in a simple but sturdy white box in perfect condition - see the images -no damage to the spine or corners. Overall, a really nice product well worth the price.

Great for gifting.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Love my Satin Purple notebook! The color is gorgeous and reflects light really nicely. I am a pencil-lover and find that the paper takes well to graphite. One cool detail I didn't realize when I bought was that the pages are numbered. Also, the back pages are perforated so you have a few extra to pull out for note-taking - nice detail. Excited to gift!

Great value for the price
I was looking for an inexpensive notebook to start bullet journaling and I came across this one. It's inexpensive compared to others but surprisingly impressive quality! Minimal ghosting, pens and markers just barely show on the next page - but I did notice my stamps have a lot of ghosting so just keep that in mind. The journal itself feels high quality, the cover has a nice sparkle in the sunlight and the pages have silver edges. And the box it comes in is also really nice, it would make a nice gift. I originally bought myself a Leuchtturm and it was AWFUL quality, not sure why anyone likes that brand, so I'm really glad I picked this one up.

Awesome journal!
I dont remember if this was in the description or not, but its shimmery 😍 and the page edges shine! I'm a church doodler and I'm excited to journal/doodle in my new book. The pages are great quality and thick so you cant see much writing on the other side (I messed with some writing thickness to test it out and the visible bleeding is from heavy ink). I love the little fox logo, this book is sleek and sturdy! Highly recommend for a journal/doodler!

Excellent journal and beautiful color!
I have only used the Leuchtturm 1917 journal, but decided to give this one a try based on the beautiful purple color. Upon arrival, I compared the two and this one is slightly smaller and less pages, but the pages are extra thick compared to the Lechtturm. I love that I don't see what I wrote on the other side of the page! I also love the texture of the cover, it slips less and easier to write in. Overall, I think this is a new favorite! Also, how cute is the little fox design on the front! I will definitely purchase again. You really can't go wrong with this journal.

Great Quality!
So far I'm really happy with this as a bullet journal. It has thicker pages than the other popular brand dot grid notebook, and it lays flatter when open. It has 100 Less pages but that wasn't a problem. Also has a table of contents, numbered pages, built in back pocket, and 2 bookmarks which are all great features a lot of other brands didn't have.
