Excelity 3pcs 3.3V/5V Power Supply Module for MB102 Breadboard Kit with USB to 5.5 * 2.1mm Cord

Received this item yesterday and all 3 worked. I'm using a 9 vdc wall wort and also tested them with a 12 vdc one as well. The included cable is not for input, it's for output. The USB connector is tied to the output of the 5 volt regulator. The product description says "and the 5V USB Type-A port can be used to supply the MCU". In other words, it outputs 5vdc for additional uses like a MicroControllerUnit. I'm already using one for my Arduino project and now it doesn't tie up a USB port on my computer.

I fried the last one of these by accidentally shorting it out and smoking (literally) one of the regulators, and I’m about to start a larger project anyway. These provide either 3.3V or 5V independently selectable by jumper on to the side power rails of a breadboard. The three come attached together so you’ll have to snap them apart like a graham cracker, but k had no trouble with this.I did have a little trouble fitting them into place, as the pins that go into the breadboard seem a little too close together. That may just be my setup as the power rails on my Elenco Breadboard | 3220 are pieces separate from the main breadboarding area (you can see this in the photo for the above product). This proved to be a plus in the end, because although the fit was tight and needed a bit of finagling, it fits solidly and I’m less likely to knock it loose.A good purchase for hobbyists.

the voltage is under the expected value, i tried the 3.3 V pin and it can only gave you 2.5 V. That is common for all 3 unit i got.After a couple of tests, i found out the power cable came with the product is the problem, if you use an USB cable to power the unit, it works fine.

Purchased for my sons college class. He was able to use them without fail. Good price and shipped quickly.

Output was 3.3V & 5.0V, tested all three with multimeter. The unit provides power to both sides of a breadboard. Each side has a selectable output through the use of jumper pins. One side can be powered with 3.3V, while the other at 5V, very convenient. It fits snugly into the breadboard and has a convenient on/off switch. Great for use with Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects.

When attached to USB power the 5v output was around 3V. To even get 3v with USB input you have to change the jumper (it comes set at 3.3v). To get 5v, change the jumper and then use at least 9V input, such as the one supplied with some Arduino Uno kits or some 9v battery adapters. That provided 5v for me on all three boards. Disappointed. But at least they're as good as the one that came with my Elegoo kit.

They work just as it was designed to. I have 4 breadboards they come handie when moving from project to project

De las tres unidades que llegaron:- Todas tenían residuos y pines doblados por mal manejo.- Una tenía un corto circuito. Murió al conectarla.La fuente tiene una entrada de DC (para regulador) y otra USB-A. Vienen tres cables USB-A a conector macho de DC, o sea que con los cables incluídos puede alimentarse desde USB mediante el conector de DC de la tarjeta.El problema es que con los 5V del USB, simplemente no da los voltajes. La salida de 5V apenas alcanza 2.6. La hoja de datos del regulador dice que necesita 6.5V para la salida de 5V. Así que los cables incluídos son de mero adorno.Con un regulador de 12V las dos placas sobrevivientes dan los voltajes de salida esperados. Uno de 9V debería funcionar también.Yo no recomiendo la compra.
