My sister broke her ankle in two places and needed to have surgery to reconstruct the ankle. After watching hobble around on crutches for the first two days I could tell how much discomfort the crutches were causing her so I started looking at knee scooters. I must have looked at 25 different knee scooters on Amazon and read a couple hundred reviews before buying this one. At the time this scooter was a newer listing so it did not have a lot of reviews but I liked the idea of the wider front tires and larger wheels that would give it more stability and make it easier to go from carpet to tile and even being able to go up one step from the outside to the inside of the house.My sister loves this scooter and dumped the crutches the first day it showed up and has never looked back. The build on this scooter is very solid with an adjustable knee seat,handle bar and a collapsible front handle bar and removable basket making it easier to transport either in the trunk or the back seat. This scooter does even have dual rear wheel brake which can also be locked to keep you from rolling down sloped pathways.The only negative about this scooter and I am sure it is the same with all the knee scooters is the seat you rest your knee on is not very soft and your knee will get sweaty after a while causing your knee to slide around. I read many reviews about other knee scooters having the same issue so at the time I purchased this scooter I also ordered the Vive Knee Walker Pad Cover - Plush Synthetic Faux Sheepskin Scooter Cushion which fit perfectly and gave her an added couple of inches of padding and the lambs wool keeps the knee from sliding even when it gets sweaty.My sister has been rolling around on this going on 3 months now and it has held up perfectly and works just like the first day she got it. Breaking an ankle is painful enough and you should not be in more pain because of the crutches rubbing your armpits raw after a couple days.Do yourself a favor and pick this knee scooter and make a bad situation a lot more bearable . Overall I'm very pleased with this scooter. It's very sturdy and feels safe even on turns and over bumps. The brake works well & is especially helpful to prevent rolling. Strong welds at joints. Only drawback for me was that I had some difficulty during initial assembly with the clamp at the base of the handlebar unit but I eventually figured it out -- no thanks to the directions or the company even though I tried to contact them. They were not helpful nor was the video that was offered. Initially, the folding release was very stiff but that improved too. The wire basket comes in very handy; it can hold several books, my tablet, cellphone and a beverage but does tend to dent easily. The seat is very hard especially with a cast. I'd highly recommend some foam padding. PS also love the color!

I also used a walker but found it exhausting to use if I had to go any distance. My doctor recommended I get a knee scooter so I started doing research. I found that renting a scooter was expensive and rentals were typically over-sized for my small adult frame of 5'2", 107 lbs. I decided I wanted a smaller, light-weight scooter with larger wheelers for stability on most surfaces. This scooter is perfect! It is sturdy and easy to lift when needed. My husband said it was very easy to assemble and easily folds up, even though we haven't used the fold feature much as I have only used it in the house. I am especially happy I ordered a scooter with a basket as it keeps my hands free to maneuver the scooter while transporting things. The stops on the steering column aid in keeping the scooter from tipping when turning. For sharp turns you may have to maneuver the scooter back and forth a few times but it is very easy to do and not an inconvenience. It did take a while to get but was worth the wait. Initially the knee pad seemed hard but has since softened and is very comfortable. It was not necessary for me to order a pad cover. The brakes work great and provide stability if you want to do something that requires you remove your hands from the handle bars. Since I will be using the scooter for a few months it was definitely worth the purchase and the price was reasonable. Note: The description indicates the weight capacity is 330 lbs but the sticker on the scooter states 300 lbs. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

I can't say enough good about this scooter! the large front wheels make it very stable. I have used others and always felt insecure. I had a fear of falling (off) of them. This scooter glides through a variety of surfaces very easily. the handle bars are also commendable for their stability and are very easy to grip. The turn radius is manageable. I think anyone would be foolish to consider any other. the price of this machine is another great feature. For all the strengths of this machine I would expect it to cost more. I love thhis scooter!!

I just received but tried it around my apt and down a long hallway a few times. Excellent: smooth and easy to steer/turn. . My boyfriend assembled it in 10 minutes.I am 5'8" 160 lbs and this size is perfect for me. I had ankle surgery and have post-lyme arthritis but I can handle it easily. I probably would not be up to doing more than a few blocksI put a small memory foam pillow on "seat". It is essential to have extra softness.Thank you for making such great product.!
