I got the wrong product at first, but thanks to how easy returns are with Amazon, I got the right color this time. Happy with this product, I think this is the only Metal food container that has that removable insert for easy washing and most importantly MICROWAVABLE!

Superb quality item, that is made to last many many years. Stop buying cheap plastic rubbish that will end up in a landfill and grab a SIGG lunch box. You wont regret it!

Badly made product, you cannot close the lid if you take the plastic out

Nothing to dislike so far.It’s stronger than I thought it would be, I was expecting maybe thinner metal that bend more easily, but this is made of strong stuff.The easily removable insert is brilliant, and even has a plastic lid to go with it (although it would have been nice if it sealed so the insert could be used on its own - I guess you still could with an elastic band or something to keep it in place.The main idea I guess though is that it’s removable and washable, so it does the job. There is also a removable divider inside that makes it that bit more versatile too.The fastenings are good and work well, and made of a plastic. Time will tell how these wear, I would have like some sort of flip lever closure maybe (like a Kilner jar) - but, they seem solid and could last years, who knows.In all a brilliant box that seals well, feels like it will last a long time and take a bashing. It’s reassuringly heavy, so not one for lightweight enthusiasts, but I’d rather have kit I can be clumsy with any day.Chuffed to bits with it!

Bittere Enttäuschung!Hatte früher mehrere SIGG Boxen. Was fällt mir da auf:Die stabilen Metall Klammern, die den Deckel zuschliessen, sind durch billigste Plastikklammern ersetzt worden. Diese sind offenkundig nach dem zu erwartenden Abbrechen nicht ersetzt werden können. Die Dose kann dann weggeworfen werden.Statt einer Silikonlippe wie früher soll die Abdichtung durch den Deckel des Plastikeinsatzes bewirkt werden. Das heisst, keine Abdichtung ohne den billigst wirkenden Plastikeinsatzes. Die nächste Soll Bruch Stellung.Ich habe versucht festzustellen, on eine Abdichtung nur mit dem Plastik Deckel ohne den Rest des Einsatzes funktioniert. Mit dem resultat, dass sich der Plastik Deckel nun auf dem Boden der Aludose befindet und ich ihn nicht mehr herausbekomme.Fazit: Aus einem Traditionsprodukt, an dem man viele Jahre Freude haben konnte, ist ein untauglicher Wegwerfartikel geworden. NIE WIEDER SIGG!

Die Alu Brotdose ist sehr stabil, wertig und sieht richtig gut aus, auch der grün Ton der Alu Brotdose ist richtig chic.Nur die Dose ist sowas von unpraktisch, will man die Brotdose ohne das Plastikinnenteil verwenden, kann man diese nicht mehr fest verschließen, auch nur mit dem Plastikdeckel alleine wird es nichts, leider.Ich hatte extra nach einer sehr leichten Brotdose gesucht und mich für das Alu Modell entschieden, mit der Hoffnung diese auch ohne diesen ganzen Plastikeinsatz zu verwenden, aber wie gesagt, dies ist nicht möglich.Durch diesen ganzen Einsatz ist die Brotdose insgesamt doch wieder zu schwer und man kann gleich ein Edelstahl Modell kaufen und der Vorteil von der Aludose ist hin.Klar ist mir bewußt das Alu Gesundheitssädlich ist aber das ist Plaste auch, die ganzen Weichmacher, genau so ein Mist.Aber die Mengen Alu die Gefährlich sind, kann man gar nicht durch normalen Gebrauch aufnehmen, es sei denn, man fühlt ein extrem säurehaltiges Getränk in die Brotdose und lässt diese 24 Std in der Brotbüchse und trinkt dieses, aber ehrlich, dafür ist die Brotbüchse auch nicht da.Es ist alles völlig übertrieben, selbst wenn man das machen würde und sich noch eine Spray mit Aluminium unter die Arme sprüht würde, würde es niemanden umbringen, es sei denn, mann macht das jeden Tag genau so, aber das wird wohl keiner tun.Desweiteren packe ich meine Brote noch in Butterbrotpapier ein, damit nicht in der Dose alles so verschmiert wird, also ist das Plastikteil Unsinn für mich und gesundheitlich bedenklicher wie die Aludose selbst.Wer die Aludose also mit Plastikeinsatz verwenden möchte, der soll sich diese Kaufen, aber Sinn macht das nicht, dann kann ich gleich eine Tupperware aus Plastik oder ähnliches verwenden.Für mich ist diese Brotdose leider eine absolute Fehlkonstruktion und ein Fehlkauf.Dose geht zurück.
