Jade Harmony Professional 68-Inch x 3/16-Inch Yoga Mat (Sedona Red)

I highly recommend the Jade harmony yoga mat. I am a yoga teacher and this mat suits everything I am looking for in a good mat for a very reasonable price. It seems very durable and I find it easy to move through the postures because it stays fixed in place whereas some other mats have moved around on me and it becomes burdensome while teaching. I found no odor at all as mentioned in other reviews and also it is just the right size, however, it is a heavy mat in weight. But I love this mat and will purchase another one soon!

I try to live my life without regrets, but this yoga mat is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. If your hands or feet sweat even slightly during yoga practice, you'll rue the day this thing was created. And it's extremely heavy, so carrying it in a bag to your yoga class isn't pleasant. Not to mention that it smells. I tried cleaning it as recommended, with no improvements. Plain old sticky mats (not rubbery, like this one) are tried and true -- and cost less than half of this one. What a complete waste of money.

i bought this cuz i thought it would help with the slipping but its even worse than me gaiam. I slip as soon as i go into downdog on thsi mat. and its also heavy and hard to roll up. the only up side to this is that its pretty cushiony.

Other users have talked about the smell of the mat, but I found that dissipated fairly quickly by leaving it out in the sunshine. I love the way the mat looks, and it's nice and sticky, no slip at all. However, sadly, I developed cranky knees for the first time in a twelve-year yoga practice, and I'm sure it's because this mat is just too thin. Not enough padding. Back to my Manduca, I suppose.

Great mat!PROS—Awesome grip, especially with my sweaty palms and feet.—Nice, firm thickness. It protects my knees better than my Gaiam mat. I can still balance easily, too.—Great color! I got Sedona red.CONS—The smell. Because the mat is rubber, it has a strong smell at first. This does go away over time.—Not optimal for outside use. Because of the natural material, you have to keep it out of the sun. I keep a second mat if I want to practice outside. Get a bag to protect your bag from the sun.

Very sticky feeling so I don't slip. As long as my hands aren't sweaty, this mat helps me stick like super glue. Downward dog is less of a struggle for me now because my hands stay planted right where I put them. I keep a small microfiber towel next to me to keep my hands dry because if I sweat I do slip. I'm really happy with this mat. I also like the fact that it's natural rubber. It does stink if you're in child's pose but I'm sure the smell will go away eventually. The doesn't bother me at all. I feel like I should have bought their thicker mat as this one is really thin. If you have painful knees or other issues and need a softer surface, this may not be the best mat for you. I solved that easily enough by putting a cheap gym mat underneath it to make it more cushy. Overall, it's a great mat.

I was a bit skeptical about paying so much for a yoga mat after having previously bought one from Gaiam which did not last too long (became slippery and could hardly stand up right during yoga practice).I just received this mat but it is so much better!!! You can tell the quality right away. It is thicker and has way more of a grip that my other Gaiam Yoga mat had which lasted a month or 2!!I cant wait to use this mat and would reccomend it to anyone!!!

The mat is not sticky at all. Very disappointed.
