Great Reels
I have fished with these reels for 2 seasons and they have performed excellent for me so far. Once you get the tension knob and breaks set for your line and lure weight, you'll be surprised how far these small reels can cast weightless baits like a 5-6" Senko and 4" swimbaits. They are not the quietest reels when casting, however they are very smooth on the retrieve and I have never had any issues with locking the drag down a pulling big bass through heavy grass. I like to use 7'3" and 7'4" M-MH rods with 10,12 and14lb test lines. Just remember to oil the break pipe and spool bearings once in a while and you'll be good. Happy fishing.

A smooth casting reel!
Wow..I fish alot of tournaments and fish on a regular basis. I own several Shimano slx and curado dcs..this one is way smoother. Just a delight to cast. I paired this with a chatterbait rod. I used it in super clear water and man can it cast a distance! Love it.

Amazing reel
Great reel, cast super smooth and reels super smooth One thing I do t like is its a little hard and confusing to close the brake cover but besides that 10/10 worth the money Also I have it paired up with a Shimano sellus 7,2 med hvy
