Q: How wide are these zippers?

these are one inch wide. have used a few for making zippered bags. very nice to sew with.

Q: Would these work on spandex for sport bra and pants?

i don’t see why not. as long as you don’t pull the fabric while sewing. i used them on small bags made of vinyl.
