Skeptical -but it worked GREAT
Bottom line is this really works! See photo of our actual first (and only, so far) attempt to use it. You have to melt chocolate and pour into their special molds, and it took a bit longer than the instructions suggest to solidify in the fridge - maybe a half hour. But once solid, totally beautiful shavings. See photo. We will use this many times.

Wasn’t what I thought want to return it
Didn’t like quality

Does the job, I guess
Does exactly as shown but the curls are super super thin. Can’t be touched with hands or they will melt instantly. Definitely not a crunchy shaving, more like thin flakes. Easy to use

Yes it works, do I like it? no.
My initial thoughts1. Value for money? Lets just say you get what you pay for.2. Does it work? For now yes.3. Is it a time saver? First out of the box use? Not even. But once you’ve got the chocolate in the forms, then yes. it’s much easier to use than a knife, or a grater.4. Was I pleased with the end result? Maybe. If I wanted the large shavings or if I wasn’t picky I suppose, then yes the results were good, and consistent. Which is also very good.5. It came with directions which was a plus, and grammatically correct instructions at that. A definite plus.6. Do I use it to decorate all my chocolatey desserts? No.7. Is it my goto chocolate shaver? No. I purchased this because I couldn’t find the jars of shaved chocolate I typically purchase at the grocery store, but out of stock (as everything is these days); and I didn’t want to use a knife, grater, or zest pealer. These render sizes larger than I wanted. What I don't like,1. The chocolate must be melted into the provided forms2. The material quality doesn't appear it's going to last very long. The business end is cheap soft plastic. The threaded rod that is part of the mechanism that pushes the plastic into the blades is also made of the cheap plastic, and the thread depth is shallow; which means the likelihood of stripping the mechanism is pretty high.3. the shavings are a bit bigger than I wanted.

Super fun and easy to use.
Needed chocolate curls for a cake and it worked great

Closest thing to Dutch Vlokken
Great little device, except the plastic threads wore out very quickly and it is useless. Rather than messing with melting and molding, broken Trader Joe's big bar of dark chocolate fit very well.

All Plastic
I gave the product 2 stars, one for the idea of a chocolate shaver, the other for the rotary design. Good idea, poor execution. The "shaver" itself is thin plastic which is so soft it's flexible. The only part which is firm plastic is the molds for the melted chocolate. Being the molds are hard plastic, how in the world would you get the chocolate to release? The molds should be silicone. If you decide to give this a try, my suggestion would be to use chocolate melting wafers, not a chocolate that is going to have a hard set. Hard chocolate would probably break the "blades". Also, be sure to grease the molds. I didn't use it (it was going to be a return right out of the box) but would guess you can put the parts in a dishwasher for an easy clean.
