Amazing and huge

I bought these the first time because I wanted pretty scissors that worked well, and I was not disappointed! They are sturdy, well made, and cut through stuff easily. Plus, they are really pretty, and look expensive. They're the perfect scissors to put in a crock (along with my kitchen sheers) on my work island, to be handy for when something needs to be cut. I bought a second pair to hang a pretty peg in my newly renovated laundry room- so convienent to have them so readily available to use, and so handy in what they can cut! I'm buying a third pair for my office and a 4th for my closet. I love having scissors handy around the house, looking pretty, and ready for me to use, without having to go to another room to fetch them. This price and quality can't be beat!

Very strong scissors had it a few years now and still works well. Highly recommend.

sharp and work well

The scissors came very quickly. Always appreciate that. And they are nice and sharp and seem to be strong enough. Time will tell on their durability. But you should know that the blades and handle are not a single piece. If you look under the pivot, the blades end in a cavity cut into the handles. It appears the blades are riveted in place, so time will tell if the setup is durable. Not sure what kind of metal the handles are made from. I had assumed each handle and blade were a single piece of steel. Not so, and my bad for not checking closer in the description, though I don't see this mentioned in the description of the scissors. They fit great and are sharp. I took away one star overall because the handle and blade are not one solid piece.

I looked quite a while for large scissors and settled on these. For sure, they are large and heavy for scissors, but that's what makes them ideal for fabrics and other heavy-duty cutting jobs. The cutting-length capacity for these 12" scissors is about 5" so bear that in mind...you can find longer cutting capacities at similar prices (and more), but you actually don't want longer ones for most jobs. I have a couple with longer capacities and they are a little unwieldy. These scissors are very sharp all the way to the tip of the scissors, and I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw how sharp they are. Precision cutting will not be a problem, as long as you can control the scissors. Which again, are heavy! But that's what will make them durable and good for tough cuts. I like the heavy-duty handles, which will not break with normal use (despite what other people foolishly claim...don't know what atrocities they did to break theirs). Great quality scissors and razor sharp. Hopefully they will stay sharp for many years, and I expect they will. I don't even mind making simple paper cuts with them because they are a pleasure to use.

I haven't used them yet but they look like they'll do the job.

Not too heavy for a 10.5” blade. Have not used on anything other than fabric so far. Cuts well. Will be interested to see how long the blade stays sharp.

Eine wirklich große, sehr scharfe Schere. Wirklich zu empfehlen.
