Ok, I have to say it really hurts to rank this book so low. I have read all the others in the series and loved them, but this one has taken a serious spin for the worse. The first thing I can't get past is the switch to present tense for all the writing. Past tense worked great for all the others, why the change up? It felt like someone else was writing it, like bad fan fiction off an unofficial site. Then, upon reading up on it, I found out that it actually WAS partly written by others doing just that. Unfortunately, it really shows. I liked the authors writing style in the other books, and this one feels as if the author ran out of ideas and just opened it up for others to write in the absence of knowing how to end the series. So sad that a great series was ruined by the "last" book.

I read this series to review it before reading it to a grandchild (age 9). I thought it was very good and am now on Book III with him and have started The Return for myself. We love that we can relate to places we have been, rides and attractions we are familiar with, and characters we love. It keeps his attention and he begs me to read it to him (yes, he could read it for himself but it is something we are sharing.) The main characters of the books start out just a little older than he is now so he can relate to them. They are great kids and are wonderful role models. The books take on a darker aspect as they progress and I would advise parents to know and understand that about the books.

Fun book for those Disney fans out there that like a little mystery and action in a book.
I love the kingdom Keepers series and could hardly wait for this to come out and be able to read it. It did not disappoint. It was especially fun to read since we have been to Disney World and on that exact Disney Cruise Ship to image it in my mind as I read the book. this was very fun and would recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries and is a Disney fan. This is about teen-agers who can transport into the parks at night....when the characters come to life, and the villains try to take over. I think it may been been targeted for teen-agers...but as an adult...I loved it too.

Nooooooo!
From the magic kingdom all the way to disneyland California Kingdom Keepers has been a enjoyable series for me. I was sad that it had to end here but excited for series two Kingdom Keepers The Return. Ounce again Mr Creeper is signing off. Not. Do not think I will go now! I have more! I liked the series because they where really really cool. I liked when you thought Finn died at the end cause I got really sad for nothing. I love Ridley Pearson books. Please publish the new series soon. Ounce again Mr Creeper signing off. For real this time.

Action packed, but...
Spoiler alert! The plot has moments that are hard to follow, even if you read the books one right after another, as I did. That said, it is a great read, and has twists you won't see coming. Just as the characters do, you will start questioning everything that the others are doing, and who can be trusted. Here, thank you for bringing in my second favorite mouse- ok, Remy is a rat, but a great and welcome addition to the story. As a Disney fanatic, my biggest disappointment is with the ending. I want my Mickey Mouse, and good, to totally triumph over evil. The last page leaves that in doubt. Unless the author is leaving the door open for more adventure, the Magic Kingdom should be left to reign as the Happiest Place on Earth.

A Wonderful Conclusion......Or Is it?
Another wonderfully written Kingdom Keepers book, never a dull moment, but this time the final chapter to an entertaining series....or is it? I've loved and enjoyed the entire Kingdom Keepers series and this book is no exception. Many would be sad that this is the last book, but there's a very strong hint that the series may not be over...making all KK fans smile. My only problem with the book is the occasional use of crowd sourcing. Even without the footnoting it was noticeable and a tad distracting. While Pearson can be admired for wanting to give the fans of the books some acknowledgement...it didn't work for me.

Took a while but Ridley nailed it
As the title says, Ridley Pearson nailed it with the final entry to this series. Probably the best book in the series exactly when you need it to be

Not the last book
There is no way you can leave all of us hanging like this,, please write another book on the Kingdom Keepers. It just left us hanging. I hate books like that. I do have a wonderful imagination but I would love to see an actual ending to these Keepers. They have been thru a lot and as a reader we followed them. Please write another book on the Keepers. At least let us have more closer, this is the first time Mickey has been introduced so one more book could have the grand finally of the explosion that the OT's wanted except in an awesome good way. :):):):). That's the only reason you didn't get my fifth star

Great story, Great Book!
Yet again, the quality of this book amazes me! The paper quality alone combined with the thrilling storyline really gives a good read. I can only hope that the follow on series, The Return, will be half as good.
