I always come back to these.
I was in the Army for 4 years and these were the basic issue boots. After the Army I continued to wear them working construction. I've tried many different brands of work boots but I always come back to these. Including my military time that makes 24 years now. Polish them military style with shoe polish if you like. For construction I just oil them with Neatsfoot oil when the leather looks like it is starting to dry. The only difference between then and now- 24 years ago they were American made. Now I see they are made in the Philippines, which must be a recent thing.

Boots came in a few days sooner than expected which was a great surprise since my last pair just had a sidewall blowout .Bought these a size wider and at my normal size, tried them on and width is probably wider than I need but I’ll deal with it and they seem to run about half size too big. Again this is something I’ll deal with since most boots on the market run too small and tight.Coat of mink oil on them and they’ll be ready for tomorrow

I wear a size 9 regular so that's what I ordered they fit way too big about the size of a 10 and a half wide not made of good quality leather my opinion save your money

This boot is just perfect. The leather is original and Haven used the same type boot in combat operations in Africa for 4 years now I have no doubt that this pair I bought would last that long.

Shipping is fast, boots are nice, but too big!
Boots are nice and well crafted and all, but are really TOO BIG! I ordered US 12, which I usually wear (should correspond with the foot of 30 cm - according to Altama web site), but they are at least 1, but more likely 1 and 1/2 size longer.
