I don't want to leave a bad review, but I purchased this for my son's birthday and the photo is how I received this item. Impossible to adjust this side and the screw seems mangled which is making me think I was sent a used item.

Solid, no-screw doorway pull-up bar. I haven’t done much vigorous swinging motions, but definitely sturdy enough for a 200+ lb man to do controlled pull-ups. Be advised, the pressure exerted on the doorway frame can crack paint and possibly warp the underlying material, but I’d rather that than having to worry if the bar would fall out and me possibly hit my head on the floor

I used it for a while. It worked. I trusted. I fell.The anti-falling mechanism advertised does not work as it says. While I was doing my pull up, it fell alongside with me to the ground without any portent. It almost break my tailbone. I would suggest anyone using this with caution.

This pull-up bar was easy to set up and is very sturdy. I don’t think I could pull it off without unscrewing it I had a car to hang from it.

I weigh about 260. This product was unable to support my weight as I used it and began cracking my doorframe as I attempted to tighten it. I’m sure it would work fine for those who weigh less than I, however I found it useless.

It was very easy to install however, my doorframe has started cracking and I’m now afraid to use it. It is a good bar if only it wasn’t tearing up my doorframe and wall.
