My First Book of Korean Words: An ABC Rhyming Book Hardcover – September 10, 2012

Adorable book for young children. Happy to find a book with a child that looks like the child that will receive it. There are books for Black and Hispanic children, and lots of books with red-heads and blondes. I'm still looking for a similar book with a Native American child that is NOT a Thanksgiving story. If anyone knows of one, let me know. I would also be happy if I could find a Barbie doll that is Asian-American or Native- American that is not a "theme" or international series doll. The last time I checked, Asian Americans and Native American children wear the same clothes as white, black and brown kids. Hmmm, maybe I need to write my own books. Anyway, the book is sweet and has beautiful illustrations. Any minor errors in the Korean words is outweighed by the uniqueness of the book.

Super cute book for small children and extreme beginners; however, upon open the first vies pages i noticed a strange rip going through the inside of each page. But, only the first few. I can over look it, but i was disappointed Over all a good book though.

I ordered this book because the artwork first drew me in. I like that this can introduce little kids to foreign languages and can be fun to read. I'm very new to Korean so I thought getting a children's book would be a gentle teacher to help me learn some of the words. My hard back copy was delivered fast and in great condition! The pages are beautifully illustrated and the little notes on the side also teach about the Korean Culture which is very neat! I'm very satisfied with my order!

You will love this book! Especially if you want to learn Korean by immersion. Simple text and easy to read. I highly recommend this book. A great teaching tool!

Great book for English as their first language trying to teach Korean words and a little culture to their little one! The poems are cute and fun to read!

Adorable illustrations that keep my one year old’s attention. It’s her favorite bedtime book - probably because the little girls looks like her. I’d also buy a board book but surprisingly she hasn’t tried to rip the pages. Once she’s older and can read, I predict she’ll still enjoy this book so I’m getting years of use.

This is the cutest book!! I got it for my nephew’s first birthday. I think he will really love the illustrations, and he and his parents will all enjoy learning more Korean words!

This book was a big hit as part of a new baby gift for a bi-racial child. I believe both parents were pleased with the book and it is a fun and easy way to introduce children to their own heritage or that of a relative or friend. Great book!

The translations aren’t accurate. There are better Korean children’s books for the same value.
