Most important for me is it sucks up liquids and releases when I squeeze the bulb and not before.Recently purchased [and returned] a basting syringe that looked just like this one, different brand. Only problem was as soon as you sucked up liquid it would start to run right back out. This one works perfectly. I'm so happy.
