All-cotton leggings are hard to find (especially organic). These earn rave reviews from everyone who slips them on. This ankle-length pair is slim but not too tight with a comfy, flat-lying elastic waistband. Super soft and substantial double-knit 100% organic Pima cotton interlock fabric retains its shape and launders beautifully through seasons of wear. I love them! But be aware the sizing may be off for you (I went by their body measurements and they were oversized). So don't go by the chart body measurements, order the size you actually wear in jeans as it relates to S, M, L, XL, i.e. jean size 10 is a M on their chart. Ignore the body measurement numbers, just order your jean size. If you want to wear them as sleepwear though, I'd say go a size up from your jean size for a comfy house lounging fit.One of the other reviewers mentioned extra cloth in the groin area. For me this is true only in the pair I got sized up for sleepwear. The pair that is my jean size does not gather, but is smooth and taut in that area. Hope this helps, every body is different though. Cheers!

Not Quite Perfection
The softness of these next to your skin is exquisite. They're well made, plus the fair market aspect all suggest 5 stars, however, 2 problems. First, these are my second try with the sizing, and after going down to a medium from large (I'm 5'5, 150 lbs) they still are very long in the legs, which I could live with but then Second, they bag noticeably in the knees when worn and the waist slides down under my not-so-large belly. If Fair Market made the capri style in Ocean Blue, I'd try those next (which would surely fix problem one, though probably not two), but apparently not made in that color. 😕 So regretfully going with 3 stars and unsure if I'll keep them.

Soft, 100% cotton as advertised, shrink only slightly, wear as well as I can expect from 100% cotton. Fair Trade
Soft, fabric is 100% cotton as advertised (so many products are not). They do shrink slightly (not much), in clothes dryer. Because they are 100% cotton they do stretch a bit during the day as worn, but all true 100% cotton fabrics do this.It is difficult to find adult size leggings that are 100% cotton. These are more expensive than the typical (widely available) 95% cotton leggings, but worth it for those who are irritated by fabrics that contain spandex.I found the sizing to be as expected. But buying clothing online, and getting correct sizing, is always a challenge.

My new favorite leggings!
This is my first pair of these leggings ang will not be my last. 100% cotton is so hard to find in leggings and these are the real deal. And Fair Trade is just the frosting on the cake! I will wear these under dresses and skirts, and even as PJ bottoms under long sleep shirts. As van campers who are on the road in a small space for a couple months at a time. I think long and hard about each and every piece of clothing I pack: Does it fold small? Is it comfortable on long driving days? Can I wear it on hiking trails, in restaurants, museums? Will it hold up in commercial laundromat machines? Wi. It dry quickly? You get the picture and these leggings check all the boxes! I can even sleep in them or wear as an extra layer under pants when it’s chilly. Thanks so much Fair Indigo for making a super product ( and no, I don’t work for them and have not been comoensated in any way). Give them a try!

One leg much shorter than the other
I accidentally purchased the ankle length legging instead of the regular leggings. I didn't realize it until I tried them on. When I tried these on, one leg was easily 4 inches shorter than the other leg. I couldn't believe how off the leg length was from leg to leg.I do NOT recommend these leggings for that reason. I may have received a bad pair, but these were very poorly made. I can't believe this isn't checked during manufacturing. I do like the full length leggings a lot, and I haven't had any issues with the craftsmanship of those.

Very comfortable
I started becoming allergic to the material in typical workout/yoga pants. The heat generated on my rear end and back of thighs from sitting down started giving me contact dermatitis! Very itchy and irritated. So...I began searching for 100% natural fabric “workout pants” and these are great! No itching. They don’t look that different from my other black yoga pants. They do stretch out, but I’ll take that over the itching any day. They shrink back up after coming out of the dryer.

Super weird fit
The fabric of these is absolutely lusciously soft, but the fit is so odd. Like another reviewer said, the back seems to be cut short, so it kind of pulls down when you sit and makes it feel like they are too small, even though they fit otherwise (and stretch out with wear). The inseam seems shorter than listed as well. Maybe I need a bigger size, but after a few hours my husband joked that I was wearing "droopy drawers" (note that this aspect didn't bother me, as I bought these to wear around the house and to bed) so I would think a bigger size would be very unflattering after wearing for a bit. Again, I love the feel of these and they were extremely comfortable to wear to sleep, but walking around with them on as leisure pants they just feel awkward.

wanted to like these, but had several problems with the fit
I really wanted to like these pants, but I did end up returning them. They might work better for someone with a different body type. I like the fabric -- soft and lightweight. Didn't seem too see-through. Problem #1 - the narrow waistband. I much prefer a wide waistband like Hue. Problem #2 - extra baggy fabric around the groin area. This was a deal-breaker. Problem #3 - butt crack ride-up. Others might not have this last problem if your butt is nice and pert.
