100% Linen Bath Towel

Perfect travel towel. I owned an Outlier grid linen towel for a couple of years ($75) and this is better and cheaper. First off the size is just right. It wraps around your waist or torso easily with enough room to tuck it in. There's also enough substance to the towel to soak up water without being overly bulky. I hate thick cotton towels because they take forever to dry. And travel micro fiber towels (PackTowel) feel terrible on the skin and eventually smell terrible (no matter how much anti-odor treatment they put on it). This towel is super easy to hand wash—plug the sink, add water, and a little soap. Wash. To wring out just fold it in half, roll it up, and wring it. It air dries really fast. Linen is by far the best towel material. And this is the best one for the money. I use it at home, at the beach, or wherever I go.

I bought this towel because I wanted to try a linen towel before I began making my own. Well, have I gotten a surprise.The towel is thin, similar to a lightweight linen dress or pants. This towel absorbs water like no cotton towel I have owned. The bonus is that it dries fast. It is a nice size and I wash it every week and it gets softer with each washing. I was surprised how much I love this towel. It has convinced me to make my own (sorry Amazon).It is worth the expense because it is a wonderful towel. I would take it when I travel because it weighs so little and folds very flat. I have a small confession, I don't iron mine when it comes out of the laundry. I just take it out the basket and hang it up in the bath.

Updating this review: I received the towels yesterday (I ordered two). I was greatly dismayed at first by the strong scent they had... why put perfume on something supposed to be natural?! I loathe scented products and don't use them. But then it occurred to me it's possibly to keep them safe from pests before sale. The scent is kind of like "fresh linen" but with that synthetic petrochemical 'wank', it's not a natural scent. I had to wash the towels twice (I only have cold water wash and hang to dry) to get the scent (99%) out. I used them after showering today and like them very much! I found the dimensions adequate, and I like that they are fairly thin. They take up almost no room at all, folded!! They dry quite fast, which will be useful when I have to hang them up inside in the cool seasons. They have nice 'body' to them, though I think if you use a dryer they'd get softer faster. I do recommend them, but just be prepared to wash them a time or two before use if you are sensitive to chemical fragrances.

Love love these towels. I’ve bought their small hand towels a year ago and they become softer and more luxe as time goes on. They wash well and they will last for years to come. I’ve had my eye on the bath towels for a while and so happy I finally bought them!

I love these lightweight, good looking towels (we ordered 2 hand towels and one bath sheet). So, I was disappointed to realize the small black fibers I kept finding around the sink, the floor and on my face were from the towels! We have washed and machine dried them several times, but they keep showing up. I was so confused after washing my face every night to see all these black things on my skin in the mirror. When I switched to a different towel, the problem was gone.

I've owned this towel less than twenty-four hours, yet I'm in love! We will have a long and happy relationship because I know fabrics (from a lifetime of sewing), and I know that this towel will only get better with age.In our current situation of escalating electric bills and finite resources, towels like these will become indispensable. Yes, I laughed at the very appearance as I stepped out of the shower; this is not the burlap feed bag from the farm where I grew up! It's a natural fiber that absorbs and gets softer with age. And while it's getting there, it may have a slightly abriding effect, depending on the enthusiasm with which you dry yourself! I noticed immediately that as the towel touches water on my skin, it instantly becomes dry!I might add that I've been searching for this towel through many Amazon returns and donations, and I'm relieved to have discovered this towel! I live in South Florida and the humidity can be oppressive, and yet this towel dried in a matter of minutes. Now I need to buy some more!

I love it. It looks all crinkled after washing first which makes it rather lovely to see hanging by the tub, almost suggesting another time and place. Drying off after my shower was a big surprise. I had used the edge a couple of times during the shower to dry my eyes and that left big wet spots, but when I turned the water off and set to drying off the rest of me, this towel absorbed the water so much more quickly than the microfiber towels with which I had replaced my big fluffy cotton terry towels. All without getting soaked. Linen is amazing. Why did it take me so long to discover this? Linen IS having a moment in the spotlight now. The wash cloths are really quite nice too and I see them replacing several other bath tools because of their rather pleasant exfoliation from face to feet. Excellent purchase!!!

Why Amazon wouldn’t post my other review, I have no idea. Can’t say a product is awful?These are awful. They shrunk to half the size they were when they arrived. Didn’t even dry them. Just hand washed because they were so rough (like burlap). Smaller than a tissue after washing. See pics

I needed a towel to take to the gym before work. Given the limited amount of size in my bag i needed something compact and not micro-fibre (just because I can't stand that material...). This towel is perfect for my needs and way more absorbent than expected. Will order more!

Purchased it for my family as we have a dust allergy/ lint dust sensitiveness, it's mild but feeling very bothered when using towels after showering. We heard that a linen towel has little lint dust than regular one. IT DOES! We literally fell in love with this item. Good quality and quick dry after use. only one small drawback is the price. We found an affordable supplier from Lithuania, so ordered more from there immediately, otherwise, it is great value if you need just one or two towels.

I went for the largest and it is extremely versatile.Great as a blanket in summer when it's too hot for a duvet.Great for camping, I fold it in half and use it as a blanket/towel. Especially great as despite it's size it packs/folds down very well.I took a fair few washes to soften it up but even with my eczema (severe) it's still my fave towel.It was pricey but worth it.
