Works Good
I have the Galaxy S20 which sadly Samsung decided to get rid of the headphone jack. After trying a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and a different bluetooth receiver I was disappointed with sound quality and durability. The AS70 is good because it's small and easy to pair. It sounds good but IMO it's not quite as good as a direct headphone jack. I feel like you get more bass with a headphone jack when you increase the volume. I like that the receiver uses the aptX codec which sounds better than SBC. I mentioned that I use a Samsung Galaxy S20 phone and it doesn't support aptX-HD, so this could be reason why I'm not getting the full quality in sound I want. I should also mention that I switch on the "Disable absolute volume" option in the dev settings on my phone and then put the volume all the way up on the AS70. I then control the volume on my phone. I also use the Samsung Sound Assistant app. I do all of this because it helps increase the volume by smaller increments with my headphones. Overall I'm happy with this product and glad I can still enjoy decent sound quality with my headphones.

Does not come with audio cable.
The Avantree AS 70 is a nice device that works well. However, in order to use it as intended, you need a short length of audio cable to connect the AS70 to the headphones. While 6 ft audio cables are easy to obtain, they are too long to achieve the intended purpose of the device. It should have come with a 12-24" cable. Since it did not, I had to spend extra to order a cable. That cost me several times what it would have cost Avantree to include the cable in the box. Unlike the AS70, their Bluetooth 5.0 transmitter comes with all the needed cables in the box.

UPDATE: Now works with FastStream. Avantree has great support.
I originally bought an AS70 so that I could use my wireless headset with FastStream, but discovered that the device had a flaw that prevented FastStream from working. Avantee's customer support was very good and communicative, and they offered me a refund. However they said that there was no way to fix the FastStream functionality of the AS70 and that a fixed version wouldn't be available for several months. Fortunately, only a few months went by and they contacted me and let me know that an updated version of the AS70 was now available. I purchased it directly from them, they shipped it directly from China, and it arrived in just under two weeks. I've tried it out and I'm happy to say that the new version does indeed work with FastStream! The true capabilities of this device come out when you combine it with an Avantree Leaf. If you're looking to turn a wired headset into a wireless headset, and you'd like it to have acceptable audio quality and decent latency, then you can use FastStream to do it. And if all you care about is low latency audio and don't need to use a microphone, then you can use aptX-LL instead of FastStream and get better audio quality. (Note that to use FastStream, you must install a special firmware on the Leaf that prioritizes FastStream over aptX-LL.) And of course if you just want to pair it with any Bluetooth receiver, be it on your PC or phone or whatever, that works well too. Avantree gets my recommendation as a company based on how good their support has been. Even though the original device I purchased didn't work, they took good care of me and never left me hanging until my issue was resolved. (If you're purchasing an AS70 for its FastStream functionality and it's still been less than a year since I wrote this review, I recommend contacting Avantree directly and asking for a FastStream-capable AS70 rather than buying it from Amazon, as you may get one of the older units.) The only downside is that FastStream's audio quality is not great. It's acceptable, but still noticeably worse than uncompressed audio, SBC, or aptX. Some music has quite noticeable compression artifacts. This is not Avantree's fault, but rather a limitation of the FastStream codec.

Disappointed with these.
I bought this to watch tv with earbuds. I was under impression I would get 13 hours of playtime. I can only get 5 hours listening to tv at normal volume.

Fantastic Customer Service
I am buying this looking for faststream support so that I can chat in game. I got the Avantree Leaf set up and tried it with HS136, which worked but the microphone volume was really, really low. So I decided to give AS70 a try. Audio works fine, but voice doesn't. Microphone has no input. I have been in contact with Avantree's customer service as soon as I reported the problem. They never unnecessarily doubted my description of the problem, and just kept giving me more things to try to fix the problem in a timely fashion. It did take a while, but at last they finally shipped me one with the correct firmware. With that my experience so far has been great: both audio and voice can go through simultaneously. So clearly they can make it work, but maybe in the newer batches of products. What I really want to high light is their customer service has been the most professional and efficient at their job I have seen, on par with my best encounters with Amazon's own customer service. Makes me feel much more comfortable purchasing more products from Avantree knowing that their product problems will be handled of with care.

Great Device to Upgrade any Headphone
I was able to upgrade a Bose Headphone that I use with my mobile. The sound is great and the microphone also works very well. Meaning that the two ways communication over Bluetooth works fine. Also, the same adapter produces great sound with my Clear Professional headphone over the stereo system.

Will not stay connected to PC
It connects to PC Bluetooth for about 30 seconds then disconnects. Even when left in place sitting atop the PC. Standard Windows 10 install. BlueTooth works fine with numerous other devices. But not this. Purchased this to work from home and be able to use a high quality wired headset I already own for gaming, unfortunately this does not work.
