Best investment I've made in a long time
I can't believe I've been breaking my back schlepping all my gear (hundeds of pounds worth) in multiple trips on a little cart and heavy bags slung over my shoulder. This thing is fantastic. I'm a sound guy who does two main types of location gigs: production mixing/recording for video and film, and live sound reinforcement for parties and charity events. I typically am either bringing several powered PA speakers/monitors and a mixer, and plastic crates of cables, adapters, microphones, etc. for a musical performance, or a pile of sound blankets, recorders, mixers, boom microphone, etc. to a video shoot. I got the R12 with the non-pneumatic tires. This thing is built like a tank. I've loaded it up with hundreds of pounds of gear and it doesn't sag, rolls easily, maneuvers easily. I got the optional upper and lower carpeted shelves and they are very very useful for carrying lots of gear. I use the upper shelf as a platform for mixer, field recorder, wireless receivers, etc. Don't try to save money buying some cheaper junk. This thing is total quality and durable (not light and flimsy). Heavy duty large tires with high quality swivels maneuver easily and easily go over bumps and cables. If you transport lots of heavy gear, you owe it to yourself to have one of these. And do get the optional carpeted upper and lower shelves.

Best Music Rig Cart
Bought this from Amazon 5 years ago when it was on sale for $175. Excellent deal. I understand there's an issue with quality control, and people end up with lemons. Mine just happened to be a perfect one, no issues assembling or using. It still looks and acts like new. I use it several times per week for gigs and busking on the streets of Chicago. It easily holds both my busking rig (picture attached) or my gig rig including a Bose L1 M2 with B2 bass module. Rolls smooth as silk through Chicago streets and parks, and I don't have to carry anything. I just push or pull my little mighty cart and stroll to wherever. Highly recommended... UPDATE: 8/1/2024 - Cart still functions fine after a decade of heavy use. I don't need to busk anymore as I play gigs full time, but the cart is still with me to carry all my gear. Best purchase ever. UPDATE: 10/5/2025 - Cart is still very functional. It is rusting in spots, and I've sanded and repainted it. One of the front wheel's rubber wore down and became uneven. I'm glad they sell just these wheels so I replaced it and regreased everything, so it rolls smoother than ever. Great gig cart.

The rockers rock, but the roadies roll...
Highly recommended! This cart is a real lifesaver (and back saver) for moving gear long distances or setting up at venues that don't have some type of cart available. In its compact configuration, it's very handy and maneuverable for quickly moving heavy loads. Fully extended, it can easily handle two large Yamaha SV118 subwoofers side by side, as well as several tops or stage monitors stacked on top all in a single load. This really reduces setup time and the number of trips to the trailer. I definitely recommend the larger wheels for traveling over rough surfaces. We often use it to move heavy road cases over grass or gravel that stops their casters cold. This cart may seem a bit pricey at first glance, but the quality is worth the investment. This thing is versatile, remarkably sturdy and it folds down to an easily manageable size for storage or transport.

Great cart, and the large front wheels make a ton of difference
EDIT 2/9/22: After using this cart with daily use for like 6 months I find it completely amazing. I used the cart in the fall for my kid's sports and lugging around water and coolers. Then in November and December I used it to move out of my apartment, where I had to go down a long hallway, out the doors then across a parking lot to a garage. Basically a quarter mile walking each way in and out. No issues at all and I KNOW I would not have been able to move as I did without this cart. I originally gave it 4 stars and I am keeping it at 4 stars still because of the handle that has too much play. I do not worry about the wheels as the cart rolls fine and the initial greasing I did upon assembly is doing well and I used it loaded down many times. (about to do maintenance on the cart) I read a pile of reviews before purchasing this and the big negatives are the wheels. Once I got the cart I realized that the people complaining may not have read the directions before assembling. The rear wheels use a wide plastic roller bearing built into the wheel, which isn't the greatest for longevity. However, they specifically tell you to lightly grease the wheel bearings and once you do, the wheels spin freely and act as if they have normal wheel bearings in them. It seems as those who are complaining may not have read their instructions or didn't do the periodic maintenance that the instructions tell you to do. The other highly ranked review claims the cart bends. Yeah, it is rated for 500 pounds, but that means evenly loaded. You need to place the heavier stuff near the wheels or place things evenly across the cart. Don't expect to spread it open and place a 500 pound weight in the middle. Doesn't work that way. I weigh 300 pounds and can stand on the cart and roll around without issue. Why 4 stars and not 5? Well other than the plastic built in bearings, the wheels are amazing. They are large and roll over grass easily with one or two hundred pounds on the cart. You cannot roll this on grass completely loaded down. Pavement and commercial thin type carpet is no issue with a ton of weight. The major downside and reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the handle tubing just flexes too much when the cart is loaded down. You start pushing and it feels like either the handle is going to bend or the tabs that hold it are going to bend. (I wish the handle was slightly beefier but the tabs that hold it need to be longer for better engagement as well. ) I may either buy or make a top shelf brace to use with it which would tie both handles together and should make it far more stable. If you have made it this far, just buy it. It folds down small enough to fit in my trunk with a cooler, cases of water, boxes of snacks, folding camp chairs, and a few other things. It holds a bunch of stuff and the tubing is small enough that bungee cords attach easily and hold stuff you put on it. It has no flat rubber wheels that roll easily and clean nicely as well. (plus the wheels lock so it will stay put on non flat surfaces)

I use this cart to transport photo booth equipment and props from my vehicle to the venues. What used to take about 8 trips with some very heavy things now takes 2 easy trips. It’s straight forward to set up, has lots of places to hook my adjustable bungees and the big wheels manoeuvre well. I haven’t used it on grass yet as it’s winter, but expect it will do well. Worth the investment!

This trolley is solidly built and perfect as a computer station for tethered shooting. The big wheels are essential for on set use out of the studio. Shelves are functional and covered with a nonslip carpet material. Wheels fit precisely and are well engineered. Highly recommended as a solid, well engineered tethering support that can function in the studio and on location.

Its shaping up to be a great cart, the build is sturdy, and its carries a good amount of weight. the wheels are bigger than i expected and thats a god thing, especially for the more outdoor or uneven surfaced terrain, it is a bit of a weight just in itself but then it is heavy duty and the stair climbers are great.
