Why did you pick this product vs others?: I only needed one of these for a high temperature sender on an exhaust manifold. The price for this whole set was lower than one of a lesser quality at the local hardware store. These are really good and thick. The seam does not break apart if the user is crimping the appropriate size wire. Use wire too small, and it might break, maybe. Would I buy again? Yes.

These ring terminals are simply the BEST. I cannot explain how much better these are than the run of the mill el-cheapo rings. If you need rings capable of high current and not easily broken. These are exactly what you need. Excellent manufacturing quality. So good that I am in the process of purchasing each size as I need them to eventually replace all my old rings. GG Morris Products!

So far they are working great, seriously heavy duty. I use them for a commercial dryer that routinely runs at 600° F. I purchased a Haisstronica ratcheting crimping tool here on Amazon to work with these terminals but I had doubts that it would work. Well...I was right. If you're the world's strongest man, you might be able to crimp these animals...otherwise think again. So what to do? Well, I placed the crimper tool in my 4" bench vise and cranked it down until the release mechanism disengaged and it worked perfectly. Truth be told, a hammer lug crimping tool would be the ideal item to crimp these ring terminals, but I wanted something a bit more universal (so I gambled on the Haisstronica tool). In the end it worked and the tool was not any worse for wear...but you will need a vise to achieve the required force for these terminals.

I have been using these connectors a long time now. I have every size available. They are very heavy duty so use lineman pliers to crimp and squeeze very hard. for good measures I soldier after I crimp. I always get the perfect connection that never ever fails, even many years later in the weather.

This is the nicest terminal lug made. Thick, strong, quality, precision - there are even barbs inside the barrels.
