My cat got fleas. I woke one morning with 32 flea bites on my arms and legs. My finger tips were covered in dried blood from scratching in my sleep - the itching was intense. I ordered flea drops right away, but it was 5-7 days for delivery, and I needed to find something to hold me over until they got here, and sadly the drops I ordered didn't kill the fleas. The number of bites multiplied every night. My doctor prescribed a topical steroid cream that worked so so for the itch, but did nothing to prevent more bites. I was being eaten alive. I have essential oils, so I mixed up cedarwood/geranium/eucalyptus/tea tree/lavender oils in almond oil as carrier. It helped preventing and the itching but putting the oil all over myself before bed was a pain in the butt, because I had to wait at least 30 minutes until the oil soaked in so it wouldn't rub off on the sheets. So....I went on a hunt. I knew there had to be something that had natural flea killing/repellent properties - in a quickly absorbable cream. I was desperate and on the verge of a psychotic episode from the 24/7 intense itching & burning all over. The first thing I did was open the jar and start spreading it on - in the hot spots. Within a minute, the intense itching/burning was reduced in intensity by at least 85%. I still itched in places, but at a very tolerable level. That was the first night in a couple weeks I slept a solid 6 hours, and I didn't wake with bloody finger tips. I have used it since during the day in the itchiest spots, and a coating of affected areas before bed. The number of bites have diminished substantially too. I can see where the spots I missed with the cream are. A little goes a long way. This stuff is worth every penny. I even ordered a jar for my sister & brother. Both are being terrorized by mosquitos where they live, and they told me they tried it already & love this creme. If you expect to find something that eliminates ALL bites. and ALL itching - you are not being realistic, but this cream worked for me & mine.

I bought the SALLYEANDER No Bite Me cream (I've bought it twice because it's THAT good!) because I wanted something natural and safe to use for me and my family during the summer. We spend a lot of time outside, and I wanted to avoid heavy chemical sprays. The first thing I noticed is the smell—it has a light herbal scent that isn’t overpowering, and it goes on really smoothly without feeling greasy. I used it before going on a hike, and it actually kept the mosquitoes away for a few hours, which is impressive! What I really love is that it doubles as an anti-itch cream. I had a couple of bites from before using it, and when I rubbed a little on them, the itching stopped almost immediately and the redness went down pretty quickly. I also like that it’s safe for kids and pets, so I don’t have to worry when my toddler touches everything. The small tin is easy to throw in my bag, so it’s super convenient to take along for outdoor activities. Overall, this is a great natural alternative to bug spray. It works as both prevention and relief, and it feels good knowing it’s made with safe ingredients. I’ll definitely be keeping this on hand for summer.

This is a better price online than where I first purchased at a store. Sometimes it will separate the oily ingredients to the top and require mixing. The smell is a little strong but the odor is also a deterrent to the mosquitoes. It's funny that my husband really likes the smell. If you find you are still getting bitten, use a little more. Just dot it onto exposed areas. It has worked well for everyone in my family. Sometimes I have put it on my clothes rather than skin but it will stain the clothes. Spot treating will clean it off. Eventually the odor on your skin dissapates and the cream absorbs but it is also no longer repellant to bugs and would need to reapply.

I got it for fleas and to be safe to use around my pets because my house and poor cats are going through a flea infestation and they just keep biting me and won't let me sleep comfortably. Unfortunately, this cream didn't work too well. Even when I would SLATHER it on due to desperation, they'd still bite me on those areas :( What I do LOVE about it is the smell. It doesnt have patchoulli but it has that earthy, sweet patchoulli smell that I love! Amd when I wear my sweet lotions and accidentally mix with it, its just a GREAT smell ♡ Hence my review of 3.5 stars. ***I'm only speaking for fleas though***, I don't know if it's worked for other insects. Update: Came back on to write a review on it for the SMELL but I forgot I already did one hahaha. Again, smells sooooo delicious. I would absolutely buy it again only for the smell and although I wrote it doesn't work for fleas I THINK it's worked for mosquitos or to just calm my it by skin. I started wearing it on my ankle area when I go to my nightly workouts because Im not sure if I'm just allergic to the air or there are supersonic mosquitos just waiting for me, but when I go outside, especially at night, and my skin is showing, I get super itchy. So I started wearing it at night if I go out to prevent that and it's been working 🙏🏻 (Changed it from 3 to 4 stars for the smell and seeming to work for my other itchiness☺️🙏🏻)

This stuff works! If you are around biting flies say in a barn or on the farm you need this. It also works on mosquitoes and fleas. Farm tested and farm approved here. Can also put it on your dog which is a plus but you don't want them to lick to excess. Excellent product and would recommend. Will buy again even if it is a little pricy but it is so worth it.

I tried this cream because I have an infestation of fleas that are making me miserable, especially with their bites, to which I think I am allergic. I also purchased the company's soap. I have showered with the soap and then have applied the cream to any exposed skin, including my face. I really cannot tell whether or not the products are repelling fleas. I keep most of my body well-covered with knee socks, skinny jeans, more socks into which I tuck the jeans' legs, shirts with high collars and long sleeves, and even knee boots/wellies most days. I sometimes feel fleas on my hands and a few occasionally on my face -- and that really creeps me out! I can say that the flea bites are no worse or more frequent. I am not sure what, if any, part the soap and cream play in this improvement. I think keeping covered with clothing is the best measure. The soap and cream smell a bit strong with their blends of essential oils. It took me a few days to get used to the scent, but overall it is not bad. I can say that the cream does not help me when I apply it to flea bites, which are horribly itchy. I was really hoping the claims to calming itching would be true for me, but that is not the case. I will continue to use the products in hopes that they are helping reduce the number of bites. However, I cannot attest to the accuracy of the products' repelling claims. Disappointing overall, but perhaps of some efficacy.

This is a great, natural mosquito repellent to use on babies. It gets the job done, and the smell is really pleasant. Most importantly it is gentle on babies skin and he has no bites after walking in the woods in Florida.

This miracle cream in a jar saved my daughter from being turned into a buffet by fleas. I am very anti poisoning the cats with flea medicine since I had a cat that had a seizure after application, so I decided to try this while trying to come up with solutions to prevent a huge flea infestation. I am glad I took the chance on this. I rub it on her every night all over every part of her body from head to toe besides the face and private areas. The smell is very potent and it prevents the fleas from biting. If I miss a day or 2, she gets bit again so I have to rub every night . It seems to be worse for fleas in the fall for us when the cats are in the house more because of the rain in the pnw. A little goes a long ways. I ordered this Oct 27, 2024 and I am now today having to reorder another big jar. You don't have to slather to where the skin feels moist or wet. Just enough to get the smell smeared all over. My husband doesn't like the smell but we find that it smells good. Which is good because we got to smell it every night.
