I love the customization option for this light. It comes with all the necessary hardware you'll need to hang it, 2 hooks, anchors and some hooks to prevent the cord from sliding. Its a well thought out kit that includes a ring so you can fit any standard lighting shade over your light. I used a nice large Edison bulb, but I really like the option of being able to add on a shade.The cord is wrapped in a durable black nylon fabric that is semi pliable but will straighten with a little weight to be taut. It's a very soft velvety feel to the fabric that makes it seem upscale. The cord is a little thicker than I thought about 3/8 in thick. Has a standard rocker switch about 2 feet from the plug, but I've been using a WeMo plug so I haven't really touched the switch much. The cord is very long for my space I was using it for but I guess it could handy for other people.Pros:- Very customizable and great for custom lighting projects- Able to add on your own shade- All hardware is included- Durable upscale fabric cord- Great value and high qualityCons:- The cord is very long (can be a pro for other people)- Not really a fan of manual switches (to be honest, I'm not a fan of any switch which is why my house is filled with smart plugs.

The red fabric cord that I got is vibrant and soft. It is a very high quality swag light cord with a power switch on it. Looks so much better than the standard plastic cables. I like how straight the cord hangs straight out of the package even without a lamp shade. And I can install a lampshade on it easily if I want to in the future. NOTE: It comes with a 3 prong plug - glad that this detail was shown in the product pictures. Wish they offer a 2-pin plug version as well. Worth paying a bit more for a quality product. I would highly recommend their products based on our experience so far.

The quality of the product seems decent although a bit pricey. It was very easy to install and included instructions with illustrations. The white cloth cord seems pretty sturdy but can stain easily. And the actual bulb socket is black while the rest of the cord is white. I would’ve preferred all white. I chose this more expensive cord ($41.56) opposed to the other two I ordered (15ft-2pk @$19.18 and 20ft @ $21.31) because it’s supposed to be 16ft (even though the instructions specify this product as 15ft) which is a better fit for my DIY pendant light. Another thing the seller should update is the fact that the switch is way more than 2 feet from plug which makes the switch visible and half way up the wall opposed to being closer to the floor.

I was searching for a hanging light for a small room, and this immediately caught my eye. The item I received looks just like the picture. The light appears to be made from quality materials. Since the actual wire was wrapped with silver fabric, the light was straight after I put it up. If you have a similar need, I highly recommend this product. I look forward to purchasing from BRIGHTTIA in the future.

Looks just as good in real life. Cheap, quick and easy way to add some style. Note: I found this will also work with shades that have a 2.5 inch fitter, which greatly expands the available options, although I wouldn't use a 2.5 inch glass shade or something heavy. It's fine with a lightweight metal 2.5-inch fitter shade.

I really like this cable. Cord is substantial and appears better made than the other types like this for the Swedish Star lights we have owned. Love the braided cloth. Reminds me of antique lamps I have owned in the past.The actual light bulb receiver is very robust as well.The switch is really high quality.I would definitely buy this again.

I love these lights. You can add a small shade also. Very easy to hang if you have the corrrect size ladder. Socket is very durable.

I bought this to create an ambient floor lamp and it works great. Cord is flexible and stylish, toggle button is great, and it really adds to the quality of my lamp. This was a great buy.
