Celestial Seasonings Green Tea, Decaffeinated Candy Cane Lane, 18 Count (Pack of 6)

Used to work in several tea houses, and bulk tea exports; have tried many fancypants exotic & basic teas/tisanes & this is the best all around (besides a nice iced Twinings earl grey with lemon). Who knew you needed orange in your mint? Hope they never discontinue it because the only thing that comes close is their Mint Magic. Once in awhile this is nice when iced, but it tastes very candy-caney in that form, bordering on cough syrup somehow. Even though I like most teas cold, I strongly prefer this one hot. No lemon, no sugar. But it has a natural sweetness that’s nice if you’re craving sugar but aiming for self restraint. I don’t use it for making toddies. It just feels wrong. For a nice hot decaf toddy, I prefer CS mint magic + whiskey/cognac + honey + lemon juice. This tea brings so much personality to the table, it calls for no amendments. It’s a complete experience. ❤️

This is the best Tea on the planet! And that's just science! :). But seriously, everyone that's ever tasted it loves this "Candy Cane" combination of teas. I am sooooo happy I found it for sale, year round, online! I can now order it in bulk to keep the tea as the constant go to drink at our house, and that brings me joy each day (which is saying a lot because I have a particularly difficult life situation) . See, it used to be that each year I had to wait until Christmas season rolled around to let the great Cady Cane Tea hunt begin. Through the years, this tradition became more of an obsession as I would systematically scour all the local stores in search of any retailers that dared carry this treasure. Then, without a single shred of social responsibility or a concern of how it might look to others, I would snag up every box of the tea from their shelves and shamelessly begin questioning each store employee about the possibility of getting my hands on any potential hidden back stock. Then the final phase of my diabolically thorough plan would consist of doing a daily creepy level stalking of the stores to see if they had tried to sneak some hidden back stocked boxes of MY TEA past my greedy, hording, pillaging efforts, in their musguided, futile attempt to offer MY TEA to any of the less dedicated and determined customers who might like a chance to buy it, but clearly didn't deserve it like I did! Fools!! They didn't know who they were messing with!! This is love!! ALL THE CANDY CANE TEA IS MINE!! MINE!! ...... Then I found out I could buy it here, online, whenever I want, however much I want. Needless to say, things have changed for me. I am in the process of deprogramming from my self inflicted Yule Tide Insanity, and re-learning to be the the calm, pinky-linking, socially conscious, tea loving hippy that is at the roots of my story, and who I am. Yes, I do still have a special storage area in my home dedicated to my personal stock of Candy Cane Tea which I visit each day to count the boxes, smell the goodness, and reassure myself that it's all going to be okay, as I make another batch of the yummy goodness. But this is my road to sanity, and I'll take it.

If you like peppermint tea, you'll love this tea. It's like peppermint but has just a hint of vanilla. Can't find it in stores except around holidays. Glad I found this option and at a decent price.

Great comfort tea. Mild peppermint flavor combined with the green tea is like wrapping up in a blanket. My granddaughter asks for this tea when she is not feeling well. Love it!

A friend gave me this tea because she knows how much I enjoy peppermint. It was more than just that. I bought 6 more boxes. LOL. This tea is absolutely wonderful! Some peppermint teas are too overpowering. This peppermint is strong enough to please but smooth enough to soothe and calm. Plus it’s in combination with decaffeinated green tea. Win, win! Totally enjoyable!

I'm trying to reduce the sugar I add to my decaf coffee so I've been using that in my coffee and it's delicious and it's extra healthy because of the decaf green tea... Win win. Now I just hope it's available for the entire year and not just during the holidays

Great product, great seller. This tea is kind of a vanilla mint flavour, and manages to taste sweet without sweeteners of any kind, natural or artificial. It's perfect for nights where it drops below freezing I think I'll make this a regular purchase!

best Christmas tea ever.

The Christmas season wouldn't be the same without Candy Cane Lane tea, but every year I find it harder to find locally. The stores that do sell it are quickly sold out at this time of year, so I decided to buy the box of 6 from Amazon and fortunately they came in just in time for me to put a few boxes in my family's stockings. Although 6 boxes may seem like a lot, I am sure that it will just get us through to next fall. If you love the taste of Candy Cane, I am positive you will be hooked from the first time you try it. Celestial seasons does make some other Christmas themed flavoured tea, but this is my absolute favourite.
