thankfully, haven't used it yet, but this used to be the go to OTC meds for small cuts/scrapes, etc. Couldn't find it in local pharmacies, so go to AMAZON

Since Mercurochrome has been banned in the U.S. for a while, I was looking for a more effective First Aid treatment. This is it. A twinge of pain when it's applied, but it dries fast and doesn't rub off with sweat. Super help for minor cuts, ingrown toenails, nasty bugbites.The bottles arrived slightly open and thus the labels were stained. But after a little cleanup, this is my go-to item for First Aid.

I know I do. I completely disregard any rating that does not have an explanation. It could be from a competitor that doesn't want to show their face. I find it really odd that Iodo has a 4-star rating but no review since it took me more than 30 minutes and several searches to FINALLY find Iodo when "Iodo" is what I put in my search but Amazon repeatedly would not pull up Iodo, nor would it pull up Iodine tincture - except one brand - when I entered "iodine tincture" I wonder why? I LOVE iodo and have had great experience with it, and the price is great. Their bottles (in the past) have also been glass, which I strongly prefer. I just now ordered this and if it doesn't come in glass bottles, I'll revise my review. If Amazon doesn't show that this review with "Verified Purchase", it's probably because I just made the purchase and the other Iodo iodine tinctures I purchased had a slightly different label (but not the Iodo Blanco).

Nothing works better on imbedded ticks IMO, and it’s hard to find these days. Minus one star because you have to buy three bottles to get the best price.
