Rainy day project
It would appear I don't have the same dash cam problems as most users. At least, not usually. Out of the box, I could tell this was much better hardware than some cheaper dash cams that I've tried. Formatting SD cards is relatively easy, but the Blackvue process is anything but, coupled with a firmware update. The Wi-Fi link is weak and finicky, and the resultant live video on the iOS phone is very choppy. I only used that function to ensure decent placement of the mount. Not easy, either, but far from impossible as others have claimed. Also, I've had no difficulty sliding the camera out of it's holder when not in use. Not sure what other folks have been complaining about. So far, recording doesn't actually look that much better than some of the cheaper dash cams. I think we're paying for a name, a design, and a few features not found elsewhere. Would I recommend it? Only to someone with cash to spare. If they don't need the added features (gimmicks) they'd do just as well with something <$100.

Best In Car Video out there
Easy to install and came with a plastic tool to help pry off my older model and to help tuck the wire. Had my older unit for 2.5 years and it captured a couple of accidents. I got it to always prove I never ran a red light in case someone else did.

Don't buy
Useless. Quality is not better even with 60 FPS. You can barely see plate numbers of cars right in front of you. Software? It wouldn't even launch your videos. Videos can be easily copied but that's all you can get. GPS - doesn't work - not in your phone, not in software. Don't get me wrong, I followed all installation steps to the letter. I advised against buying this product. The idea is good but it's not ready for the market, especially for this price.

They added ads to the app.
Buy something else, they recently added ads to their app when you view recorded videos or the live view. Ridiculous when considering the price of this camera.

Check SD card....
This is my first dash cam. For the price I didn't expect it to be the best, but to serve a purpose hopefully with minimal issues. It was easy to set up. Worked well for a while with occasional check sd card messages. Would unplug, plug back in and go. Overall, it works as expected.Started using the OBD plug a couple of weeks ago.The check sd card issue is often now. Even after formatting the card. Updating firmware. My Jeep will be sitting there, and all the sudden check sd card message goes off for a while, it resets itself, then continues on. It also starts recording randomly. No one, or anything will be around the vehicle, and the announcement, "Blackvue for your safe driving" will announce, and off it goes. WTH? lolI am going to buy a memory card form blackvue I guess. At this point not sure it will make any difference, but will see.

Great camera, but.....
While the Blackvue dr750 is a great camera, it does have it's downsides. The cons:First of all with all the hoopla about 60 fps, it still gets pixelated video if there are trees lining both sides of the street. Then I also noticed that license plates are very hard to read, even in daylight when you're right behind the vehicle.Another big issue, the way the mount holds the camera with too much away from the windshield, creates a very annoying glare at bottom of the windshield, the whole dash is reflected in the video. The pros:This thing in general shoots awesome clear high quality video.I love the option of tapping in via app on the fly, and either watch live, or choose clips by the minute to watch.Very easy to watch, download to your phone, and instantly share clips.Love the gps split screen when watching a clip, it lets you watch a video side by side with the gps.In conclusion:If you're looking for a good camera and you can overlook the cons, this is a great and not crazy expensive camera.

Can't have more than one cloud connected without monthly fee
I have this in 2 cars now. Quality is great. I purchased them with the cloud option in mind. I setup the first one, but after a while it quit uploading videos. Haven't figured out why yet. The second one - quite disappointed when I found out there is a monthly subscription cost to have more than one camera cloud connected. $20 per month for up to 3 cameras. I didn't see that in any fine print, and am quite disappointed. So now I have a camera connected that doesn't upload, and can't connect the second camera to the cloud without paying $240 per year.
