I am a 41 yr old woman who has pretty much refused to wear sunscreen my whole life. There are 3 key reasons for this: 1- I do NOT like the smell of a typical sunscreen. The smell is strong and lingers far after application. 2- I do NOT like how greasy your skin feels no matter how lightly you apply it. 3- I simply do not like all the garbage ingredients in most sunscreens.Having said that I have recently been trying to play catch up on my sad, neglected face. Since I have been using a Retinol product it is strongly urged to use a sunscreen and since my goal was to improve my complexion I decided to hop on Amazon and try to find something. I honestly didn't have much hope. I thankfully was very surprised! I did a quick search for "Organic Sunscreen for Face" and this product was one of the first few in the lineup. I quickly noticed the high rating and clicked to check it out. I was so excited to read that it promised everything I was looking for- non greasy (yet moisturizing), didn't smell like sunscreen (and it doesn't!) and the best part is that it is made with organic ingredients... SOLD!I don't think I was ever so excited to try a sunscreen but the very next morning I did. And LOVED it! I applied my serums and normal moisturizer and then put this product on. Just so people know it does goes on with a whitish cast but if you wait a few minutes (as suggested on the label) the product sinks into your skin and the white disappears. It is a very nice moisturizer either with your current favorite or all alone. I did notice that my skin looked a bit shiny after the whitish cast disappears but once I continued on with my regular foundation and a light dust of powder all I noticed was a moisturized face- no greasiness or heaviness. Even though out the day my face didn't get that greasiness that can occur normally as you sweat and such.I will admit I was a bit unsure of the size of the product (2 oz) and the cost but find that one push of the pump is plenty enough to do my face and neck so I can see this lasting a reasonable amount of time.I am so glad I decided to give this product a try and see why it does have such a good rating. It's a wonderful product, packaged nicely and I will purchase this again as needed.

I like this face cream. I find it a tad thick, but using it with a powder and a primer, which I use anyway, make it work well. The price for two, 19.99, is excellent for the quality of lotion.I also break out easily. I do not have any bad reaction to this lotion. What a serious relief to find a natural sunscreen with mineral SPF that does not break me out. It is incredibly hard to find a face cream that has mineral SPF. After many hours of searching, this was a relief.Why the 4 star:Doctors say that SPF 30 is really the gold standard. I use SPF powder on top of this, but I wish that they simply made a lotion that had the appropriate level of safety.I will purchase again, and I would recommend it to anyone who has less sun exposure or who uses an SPF powder.

This sunscreen really protects your face from sun damage. I really like it but just a warning.This product is a bit thick and heavy. I actually mix it with an oil spray suncreen and a bit of hylauronic acid. This makes the formula thinner, easier to apply and helps the white cast to disappear. If you use it straight you may find its a bit heavy for a facial sunscreen. That said the point is to protect your skin but no one wants that white cast either.So if you don't mind a little experimentation to achieve the perfect consistency and spreadability, buy this product. A little goes a long way.

I was excited to try it. The packaging was nice, with recyclable packaging.The ingredients are not made from the typical harmful ingredients found in most sunscreens. The non-nano uncoated zinc oxide is the best for the skin.I wouldn't change anything about this sunscreen. It has everything I want in a screen.The sunscreen is a nice consistency and is easy to apply and blend into the skin. It doesn't make your face look white. It leaves a minimal shine, like you just recently moisturized.I have been looking for an natural sunscreen that was not only good for my skin but good for the environment too. And something that didn't leave my face white. This sunscreen is great! The ingredients are not made from the typical harmful ingredients found in most sunscreens. You know, all those that start with O, that you can't even pronounce. I am guessing they were created in a lab. This sunscreen uses non-nano uncoated zinc oxide, which is the best for the skin and doesn't damage the reefs.I really wouldn't change anything about this sunscreen. It has everything I want.It's a nice consistency and it's easy to apply and blends into the skin well. It doesn't make your face look white. It leaves a minimal shine, like you just recently moisturized. This company has even made all the packaging recyclable, which is a plus for me.

Man, I really wanted to like this! I have super sensitive (reactive) skin and try to only use organic products. So, I was looking for a gentle sunscreen to wear on my face under my mineral makeup.This had an overpowering smell and I know my skin - it would not react well to scented anything, so I didn’t even TRY putting it on. I simply returned it immediately.Btw, I use Badger’s unscented broad spectrum SPF 30 now under my makeup (and on my entire body) and it’s GREAT! No reaction!!So...if you have highly reactive/very sensitive skin - try the Badger brand and pass on this one...

This was my first ‘clean’ product from Beauty by Earth. I purchased the Beauty by Earth Face Sun Cream after educating myself on the dangers of using toxic standard sun creams. I have also attended to make my own sun cream for myself and my family successfully unfortunately having coconut oil as one of its main ingredients it does turn really runny when the days get warmer and it’s difficult to carry around in your handbag.I have now been using Beauty by Earth face cream 2 weeks. I love the packaging (could be bigger for the price thou) , absolutely love the little pumpThe thickness of the cream is perfect, its leaves your skin lovely and smooth no white-ghost look, having no issues to absorb immediately and ready to apply your make up on the top. It doesn’t leave my skin ‘shinny’ either it just absorbs beautifullyOn the down side I have noticed that I break out with spots when using with coconut oil on my face but not on other areas of my body. Nothing to do with this cream, I didn’t know this when I read the list of ingredients. I will happily finish this cream and probably research for another without coconut oil on the list on ingredients maybe jojoba not sure. So so nice knowing that when you hand out to your family this daily sun cream you are not asking them to apply any ‘nusties’ on their skin, as a mum it can’t get better than this

I really like it, you can feel that it's a good cream, not just a sunscreen. My skin is no tight nomore . The only downside is that it leaves you a little withish-scary shade after applying it, but if you rub it a little and let it settle for few minutes, it banishes.

Not easy to use and not sure it works against the sun as I got sunburnt and is just April sun

Good that its a natural product. I wouldn't call it a face moisturizer though! It is a suncreen really. When it goes on it leaves face chalky white.

The product itself has a nice texture, scent and finish, however the pump started malfunctioning after a couple of uses. I would consider buying this product again especially if the container (preferably glass) gets improved.
