Athens Foods Mini Fillo Dough Shells 15 Per Box (3 Boxes)

They're fine, and arrived undamaged. A few days later checked a local grocery and this same item was $2.06 per box. Makes me feel like I'm paying for shipping even with a prime designated product.

These are great to have on hand for a last minute dessert, appetizer, snack. Fill with pudding or mousse, fruit, pretty much anything. I laid 3 or 4 leaves of watercress in the bottom, then a dollop of sour cream mixed with lime juice/zest & hot sauce, then topped with some grilled shrimp. They looked beautiful. I've also used them for mini key lime pies, and filled them with refried beans, ground beef and cheese. You can pop them in the oven for a few minutes to warm up/melt cheese and it really enhances their flavor. I've ordered them a number of times, and they're always well packaged and protected.

Awesome product and so tasty. Out of 3 boxes only one shell was damaged in shipping. I like that I did not have to brown first to bring back crispness! I filled with a herb, Boursin, mascarpone filling topped with cucumbers, dill, and pickled red onions in a light vinaigrette. Guests raved! Filled Tart stayed crisp for many hours.

These were definitely the best pre-made little pastry cups of any kind I tried. Make a great addition for a tasty little dessert filled with all sorts of stuff. My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the packaging. I think the difficult in opening each tray was part of a design to keep them from breaking, but it is so difficult to get the plastic off the tray that it is hard not to also break a few In the process.

I ordered Athens Foods Mini Fillo Dough Shells for our Christmas party. I was a little worried that the shells would get damaged during shipping. But to my surprise the order arrived quickly and the shells were intact. The shells were crispy and tasted great! I will definitely be buying Athens Foods Mini Fillo Dough Shells again!

This product is way too fragile for shipping apparently. I ordered 12 boxes of it for a church event and it's been a complete waste of $40! Apparently food products are not returnable so I'm just out of luck. There ought to be a better way. I truly think I should be reimbursed. I very carefully stored all of these and kept them sealed so they would be fresh for my project. I am so disappointed!

The tartlet shells were abit smaller than I expected, but then I did not read the description well. They are light and pre-baked. Ready to use. Be careful in handling; they can break if handled roughly. I put Clearbrook Farms Lemon Fruit Tart is some and Chocolate Moouse in others. Topped with whipped cream, they were a smash at my Holiday Party.
