I bought this SPECIFICALLY for my Jones Road face pencil and neutralizer pencil as they are quite a bit bigger (larger circumference) than most pencils (eye liner, lip liner, etc.) I was a little concerned when I saw the review which noted it didn't work with her Jones Road pencil, but in reading through the review and looking into this sharpener I came to the conclusion that she didn't pull the piece out of the large hole, which allows for even larger pencils. Also, with Amazon's return policy I knew it would be no issue if the hole was not large enough. As soon as I received it I opened it and tried it on my pencils and.....VOILA!!! It works PERFECTLY on my pencils when you pull the fitted piece out of the large hole. It's made well and should last pretty much forever! It sharpens quickly and easily as the Revlon sharpeners I've had in the past (my first was purchased 40 years ago), which just goes to show that Revlon is still a reliable company with reliable products. The price is more than reasonable, especially figuring you may never need to replace it! Love that this opens to dump the residue/shavings after you've sharpened it, unlike the sharpeners in the past, but you don't have to worry that it will pop open by itself -- you definitely need to pull on the "cover" to get it open. This design makes it so convenient in case you're not somewhere you want the shavings -- you can sharpen your pencils anywhere and dump the shavings once you get back home! Couldn't be more pleased.

Perfect. Sharpens plastic pencils as well as wooden. Even comes with a little built in cleaning tool that you can pop out and back in. Very pleased and bought at a low price. Cannot go wrong with this manual sharpener.

The sharpener would work on eyeliner, lip liner, and eyebrow pencils, just make sure it's a pencil, otherwise it's going to bleed all over the thing, so it is for wood based makeup pencils. These are quite adorable, I have used them over the years, it works very well, sharpens remarkably, and easy to take apart to empty the shavings. It has two different size holes, so you can't really go wrong.

On the downside, it fills up faster than I expected and needs frequent emptying. It also struggles a bit with very soft pencils. Yay! This actually shrpens the pencils with the rubbery coating. It does a regular pencil, the coated ones, and fat pencils perfectly. I love it and use it quite often. It is definitely a purchase that is well worth the money. Shipping was fast, absolutely no complaints!

I have an eyeliner, I will not name the brand, that everyone has claimed is impossibly to sharpen. This sharpener does it perfectly!! I have not once had it break my eyeliner. It is also easy to clean and does not clump inside the sharpener. Huge plus!
