Great replacement!
I've had my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones since 2018. These are my daily go to headphones. Unfortunately, this year the ear pads started to peel off and look very worn out. I was worried I'd have to buy a whole new set of headphones. Luckily, I found these replacement pads on here! I was worried about the installation, but the package came with a tool and instructions that were very easy to follow. I was able to take out the old ear pads and install the new ear pads under 5 minutes. The actual replacement ear pads are identical to the original Sony ones. You can't even tell the difference. The replacement ear pads have great adhesive quality, they do not feel cheap they feel firm and stiff. My headphones feel brand new now, they fit snug and do not cause any irritation. The replacement ear pads look and feel brand new. The replacement ear pads function well, they have not affected any of the noise canceling function of the headphones. They fit snug on my ears. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has these headphones. I will be buying a few more to stock up on for the future.

Great replacement at a fraction of the cost
After many years of use my OG ear pads got worn and these were the perfect replacement. They are comparable (not identical) to the OG pads at a fraction of the cost. The replacement is pretty simple. Just carefully pry out the old ones and snap in the new ones. The material is comfortable against my skin and is durable. There's a good amount of cushioning too.

Worth the money! I think it would be the best replacement kit other than Sony ones
Easy to replace — the included blue plastic stick was really helpful for removing the old earpad, and installation was smooth. The pad itself feels a little bit firmer than the original one; however, I used the original pad for 6 years, so take my word with a grain of salt. The color matches really well with the beige/grey tone of my headset, which I’m really happy with. Lastly, the build quality is worth the money. I would highly recommend it to someone who’s looking for an earpad replacement.

Honest First Impression
I’ll give an updated review after I use them for a while but the quality of the material was good and the cushion was comfortable. Easy to install also included a pry tool. I left one of the originals on so I could compare noise cancellation and I didn’t notice a difference. If anything the new pads helped the noise cancellation because my old ones were really worn. I can see how maybe they can make your ears sweat more than the originals but I won’t know how much that affects my opinion until I use them for a bit. If your like me and are actively checking the mixed reviews and get confused…for $20 these are worth it out the package at least. My original pads were beat and these were a good replacement. I’ll give an updated review after a week or so.

Very happy, brought a whole new lease of life to my old headphones.
I've been extremely happy with my WH-1000X3's, had them for six years and they still sound fantastic. But the cans were well past their prime and I was afraid that I'd have the either suck it up or replace the whole unit. I was very happy to find this product, very easy to fit and comfortable. The sponge is certainly a bit stiffer than I was used to, but I suspect that it's much closer to what they were six years ago.

They stood by their product
First part had a manufacturing defect they stood by it. Works great otherwise. Didn't align right. Second one was ok. I'll try to address the concerns i had. I needed new pads but really didn't want to mess up a good thing. - anc -- the same/close/not impacted much -comfort-- needs beak in They feel better than the original after break in, to me it didn't start that way. I'd had to put about 20-30 hours in. They soften up and then leveled off. After about a month or so they are as soft as the original but a touch springier. This brought the anc up after they softend I tried several here was my experience: I tried a-b testing with an air filter it produces about 78 db of sound The test products Brainwavz These original wicked cushion Results Brainwavz anc really bad comfort good quality/look good These quality ok not horrible. anc fantastic (virtual tie) comfort fantastic (best) original quality good but they don't hold up so durability is an issues they flatten out over time. anc fantastic (virtual tie) comfort fantastic (good) wicked cushions quality pretty amazing. I think it beats the original anc unfortunately not quite as good as these or the original. I can but not as bad as the brianwaves. comfort, feel really good, but more airy. My testing anc: The easiest test when you compare these i found (since ab testing takes time) is to push he headphones down to increase the clamp. when they are tight that is effectively as good as it will get while wearing different pads you can measure the delta in their specific pad default state. they all sound about the same with different pads then when depressed basically. And depressing always makes improvements. The originals and these have about the same amount of difference or maybe to be safe a very very small amount worse with these, and i can't promise it isn't me imaging it. Brainwavz you you can tell immediately tell are worse. I was careful with the fit; i spent hours on this. I"d go with these out of the ones i've tried. Brainwavz uses a nicer material /fake leather, they look and fit perfect, but impacted anc. To me none of these really impacted sound quality. they are all close enough to the originals in dimensions. I think wicked cushion might look and feel the best to the touch, and definable has high quality material. These are made with thinker (not high) in width foam though and likely that is why there is additional material so your getting a better seal, especially after a week or two when they soften up. My asks for these since they are my recommendation: I wish the skin was a little higher quality though i have to admit it feels really good. will update if there are problems, but it's thing and i am almost expecting it will wear over time maybe if they made them a little wider (out and a bigger flat surface area that contacts skin they could be even a little better too. I believe you'll be happy with these. Best option i can find so far. I'm sticking with these over the original and i spent an absurd amount of time on this. I prioritize anc, if you don't you might want to try wicked cushion. They aren't bad and they are built so well, but i could detect a reduction in anc. I also like the feel on the additional foam. If you prefer an airy no touch feel that's wicked cushion. If you need foam inserts brainwavez has those. but the pads just didn't block out sound By the way i wear glasses, so i test with that. this makes pads even more important which is why i am so sensitive about seal.

Made my headset brand new. Came with the small plastic tool required to remove the old ones and a small insturction paper on how to do it. Simple and very useful and my headset is sparkling again. Recommended for anyone who wants a replacement

The ear pads on my Sony WH-1000XM3 needed replacing. I would usually opt for a genuine replacement, but getting the spares ear pads is difficult. I wear my headphones all the time. Every single day, for hours on end, on average, 8 hours! I use them to isolate and cancel noise, even when no music is playing. They are my most valuable personal asset. I love them! Thus, the need to replace the pads with equal or better performance was significant. I ummed and arred about buying these replacement pads. For several reasons, including comfort, isolation, and of course, sound. I looked at some competitors and opted for the SOULWIT brand. I am so pleased. In fact, ‘pleased’ is an understatement. The replacement of the old pads is straight forward. Using the provided tool, you prise the edge to lift the plastic connectors to disconnect each pad. Then, you apply the new pads and you’re done! I was nervous about snapping the connectors, but I achieved a clean replacement. Be patient, apply force, but not too much and you’ll be good. There was one downside I must report. When you remove the pad, you will see a small piece of material protecting the driver on both channels. Because of excessive use, this material was dirty and torn. But, the manufacturer does not provide this as a replacement piece — they should. Even if it adds a couple of pounds to the price. It’s an important part that could be replaced at the same time as the ear cups. Instead, I had to wash the material in soapy water, and even fix a part with some glue because the material had torn. Thankfully, all is well. Besides that, once you try the new pads, you will immediately notice how full they feel. BUT.. this memory foam, in time, flattens. That’s a good thing, as they become closer to the original ear pads. As the ear pads flatten, this results in comfort and excellent noise cancellation. But, worth noting is the size of the ear holes. The replacement pads are smaller than Sony’s, which is a shame. As a result, they might not be suitable for people with big ears. But I have small ears, so they fit well. I write this review after 8 months of use at about 8 hours a day. That equates to umm, a lot of hours! As I look at them while I write this review, I must admit, the quality is extraordinary. The memory foam has flattened, but there’s no wearing of the material. They look as good as new. I am so very pleased with this purchase. It was one of the most sensible buying decision of the year. And, if you’re in the market to extend the life of your Sony WH-1000XM3, you might want to consider these beauties.

Generally, it's a great purchase. I've been using it for a few days. I don't feel that it's as soft as the original pads, but it's soft enough that it doesn't hurt my ear. Also, I noticed that the noise-cancelling improved. I feel that, over time, my original pads degraded and softened too much, and that lessened the noise-cancelling (NC) capabilities. I can hear the NC difference between the worn one and this new pad. It was easy to install, and it came with a tool to help you remove the old pads too. Before installing, I would suggest to sanitize the earpads before using because my outer ear itched a bit at first. I also love the design. The gold touches added more personality to a rather boring black look. :)
