In this day and age where side hustles are now becoming a essential way to generate extra income (jobs just don't do it anymore, let's face it) - as a Gen X'er, I know that as I head closer to retirement, I need something on the side that will allow me to make additional, passive income without me having to get up early and put in 40+ hours/week - here is the guide for you to do just that and at least, give you ideas to do your own research and figure out what will work for you. This guide is FULL...and I mean, CHOCK-FULL of sites, categories and descriptions of all kinds of ways to generate income. So much so, one could probably be serious enough to just start free-lancing if you qualify by applying to particular sites - even wanting to start your own side business - this book will at least give you resources to do that to start off - yeah, the author did a fabulous job creating this guide which I still am going through and researching. Some sites are already familiar but it is well worth giving to even a college graduate (if they don't already have side hustles) because it's a good way to keep cash coming in just in case it takes awhile to find a job, or even if you find yourself landing in the unemployment line from company sizing down, etc. Get this book and get started - it is well worth having!

I have to say, this review is long overdue. I owe Robin Barrett a huge thank you for opening my eyes to the world of making money online through her book, "Work From Home While You Roam." To be honest, I had no idea it was even possible to earn money online on my own terms without being tied to a regular job with set hours. When I used to think of "online jobs," I always imagined something like customer service gigs where you were tied to your computer for an 8 hour shift, which honestly sounded pretty dreadful, plus I already have a full time job.But Robin's book was a total game-changer for me. She not only enlightened me on the wide range of possibilities but also provided over 300 resources for location-independent jobs that cater to different skill sets and schedules. Micro tasks FOR THE WIN!Once I finished reading "Work From Home While You Roam," I signed up with several companies and, to my surprise, made $300 in my first month. Things only got better from there, and after signing up with numerous companies, I now make an extra $2,000-$2,500 every month just by working in my spare time: early mornings, lunch breaks, and evenings after my full-time job. The best part is that I work when I want to or when I have the time, with no set hours holding me back.The job listings in the book are comprehensive and accurate, and I can't thank Robin enough for giving me the tools and knowledge to get the ball rolling.My only regret is that she didn't write this life-changing book sooner!PS, here’s a pro tip: If you go this route, there are many and tons of micro tasks out there. I strongly recommend you keep a log of your earnings each day - the company, the topic and the expected pay. This will also help you out when the tax man cometh!

I started watching Robin's YouTube channel right after she started it in late January, 2018. Just two weeks before, I had taken delivery of my first travel trailer, which I would soon fix up to live in full time. I've now been on the road the better part of two years, and have thoroughly enjoyed her channel, her Facebook presence and everything about her cheerful, never-day-die demeanor. After I saw her speak at the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous in 2019, I knew I would have to buy her books. I have yet to read her first one, but I'm sure it's great. This one was everything I expected it to be and more. Living in this highly uncertain time, I am loathe to keep all my income eggs in one basket. I have a few revenue streams of my own, but I bought this book to teach me other ways I could make money to stay on the road in case those markets dry up (as they did in the Crash of 2008). I knew I couldn't sustain another hit like that, so having this book under my belt gives me confidence that no matter what, I'll be okay. I have gifted this book to a few of my nomad friends, and recommended it to many more. Let me just say this: If you even think a wee bit that you might be able to use this book, get it. You won't be disappointed. And to know she's committed to keeping it updated is just a huge bonus. There isn't a bit of fluff in this book. All useful, actionable info, well-presented with Robin's trademark good humor. GET THIS BOOK!

I found out about this book by stumbling onto Robin Barrett’s YouTube channel. I saw a video in which she listed some interesting work from home options and decided the book was worth a try. It most definitely was.Despite doing my homework in looking for a new income stream there were still resources listed here that I didn’t already know about - and the explanations of the application processes and the payment methods saved me a lot of time in narrowing down the list to things I will actually pursue.There is a lot of repetition in the book - as there are sites which fall under more than one of the categories into which the book is organized. I read the entire book, but I would recommend that if other readers know which category they are most interested in, they just skip straight to that chapter to avoid the cross posting (for lack of a better phrase).At any rate I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for legitimate work from home / online / digital nomad income opportunities. I have already done a few of these, so I know they are real options. And I’m looking forward to trying others asap.
