Does what it's intended to do. Slides in and out easily.
I purchased this to use in a 19" music rack. It's a great shelf if the equipment you are putting on it is light-weight. In my case it's Strymon Big Sky and Timeline pedals. There's also rear rack mount ears which allows the shelf to support heavier items in the event you have a 4 post studio rack with rails on the front and back.

Incorrect weight listed
According to to the Specs, this shelve is supposed to weight 2 pounds. After receiving the shelve, the weight is way more than 2 pounds, I will say is about 5 pounds. Is a shame, because, the whole purpose for the shelve was for my travel kit, and as you all know weight is important on your check luggage.

Rack Mounted Slide-Out Shelf
The media could not be loaded. I needed a shelf that pulled out for a new piece of gear for my studio. But the cost on most out there were stupidly priced if you ask me.This one works perfectly and priced right, it's sturdy, extends smoothly, quiet and well made. I would and will buy another. Keep in mind, it may depend on how you use it...Who am I, and do I know what I'm talking about? I have over 30 years in recording studios and radio as a production director. Storage and convenience always plays a factor. I think if you purchase one of these you'll love it 👍
