Salux Nylon Japanese Beauty Skin Bath Wash Cloth/towel (3) Pink Green and White

My first Foreign girl friend was Japanese and we met in ,Take a guess, Japan. I was working as an aviation mechanic and was the low man on the pole if you know what I mean. That meant I got all the good jobs like changing out hydraulic lines and anything the big dogs did not want to do.After a few dates she told me "OK JOE me like you a lot but you have to get skin cleaner" and she gave me one of the wash cloths. Anyone that has wrenched for a living knows that some of this stuff comes off in phases. I was amazed at how well this thing foamed up with soap and how well it cleaned .There is not a place on your body you cant clean with this amazing product. It dries in minutes and if you want to you let it hanging your shower for years. I have to remind myself to swap it out. It cleans it self every time you use it. Unlike some slimy disgusting wash cloth.My Japanese girl left me for a flashy fly boy but that had to do with going state side not hydraulic oil. 40 years later I'm still benefiting because of Salux was cloths. I think I got better deal in the end and my skin is so soft.

I have used these wash cloths for years and it appears that I received a knock off because the quality is way below what I have used in the past or ordered before. It does not exfoliate, it is softer and thinner, just poor poor quality. I am not sure what happened w/ this order but I will not order from this seller again and if needs be I will buy this product in person if I can't identify a reputable seller on Amazon.

Warning, these are counterfeit! Not the real salux. These are larger and paper-thin. Waaaay too soft. Not an exfoliator in the least. The real salux is 11” x 35” and somewhat stiff. Very thick and the best exfoliator ever. Do not buy these!!!

I have seen this product on makeup alley and wanted to try it for a long time. I ended up buying it for 2 reasons:1) I have KP bumps on my upper arms2) I had just gotten back from a beach trip and I was peeling really bad.Let me preface this by saying my KP is pretty average. I am dark complected so it is not very noticeable. However, I still feel self conscious about it, especially when wearing sleeveless shirts or a swimsuit. I used this product with Cerave soap and I scrubbed pretty hard. Imagine a long washcloth woven with super strong loofah fibers, and that is what this product feels like. I tested a small section of my face (I've heard you are not supposed to but I was curious and wanted to test it out) it is very abrasive and honestly on that area you are better off with a good scrub. After, I mosturized with a body oil and lotion for my face. ALL of the dead skin was gone. That's right, after one use no more peeling, and it left my skin with a gorgeous, healthy glow. The results for KP were good but not as great. After reading all the reviews, I thought it was going to be a miracle product. I tested this out for 2 weeks on one arm to compare. It does smooth out some of the bumps, but it is nowhere as smooth as my normal skin texture.Overall: Great product! It will save me so much money on body scrubs, and I especially recommended it for beach trips if you are prone to peeling, and is the best KP treatment I have tried yet!

I started using these AMAZING body wash cloths decades ago, while visiting fams in Hawaii. I immediately threw out my soft nylon pouf wash ball and it was Salux wash cloths FOREVERRRRR!! I’d go to Walmart & purchase a stockpile of these during my visits and then thought I’d try and find them online back in Cali. Well, I bought them from another seller and boy was it a hard lesson to learn to know there are FAKES being sold online. I’ve attached photos, so you can see the difference from the REAL vs FAKE ones. The female on the packages are totally different. Also, the real ones are made in Japan and state, “MADE IN JAPAN” on each package. I’ve bought the REAL ones from this seller! The real ones are true exfoliation body scrubbers that you’ll absolutely love! It’s the perfect amount of abrasive feel with none of that crappy sugar scrub needed! It holds and lathers any body wash soap very well, while shedding those dead skin cells. It’s long enough to wrap and wash your entire back area, which I seriously love because, no one can reach their whole back area for a proper wash! And.. it rinses and dries wonderfully! They’re so well made and will last for months! These washcloths can also be placed in the washer with like items. Anywho, I highly recommend Salux “REAL” body wash cloths to anyone looking for something better than what they’re using!! Always check your package details to see that you’ve purchased the real deal and you won’t be disappointed!! If you prefer something soft, this isn’t for you.

Several of the reviews below are correct about the softer quality of the cloths compared to an older version of the cloth. The cloths are noticeably different: too soft in texture so they don't scrub as well be imo. Such a shame because this was my favorite brand of bath cloths. Will be returning asap.

Japanese know bathing way better than westerners, they've been doing it longer. Save the oceans, stop buying those cleansers with microbeads... buy this instead. It's a Strong, easy to rinse clean, and made from a nylon material that's REALLY scratchy so you don't need to rub your skin hard (which stretches it and makes you old before your time). As a general rule when buying these sorts of wash clothes the scratchier the better, as it will exfoliate your skin and help open your pores. This does it SO well that I suggest using it with soap only once a week, unless your using a moisturizing soap. My only gripe is the colors, they're really not all that attractive... the photos are pretty much spot on.I'm older and have frozen shoulder in both shoulders, and with this I can easily clean my back unaided

After some hit or miss orders of this item in the past, I recently ordered from 'JapanSuperMall' fulfilled by Amazon and these are the real deal, authentic Salux beauty skin cloths. They are the 'harsher' authentic ones not the softer knock offs.

These Salux wash cloths are absolutely amazing. They may feel a little rough when you first touch them, but trust me they're by far the best thing for rough, dry and flaky skin. The lather up really quickly, with only a bit of shower gel. Using it the first made an immediate and startling difference to my KP on the tops of my arms.Body lotion is so much more effective now and absorbs and moisturises so much better now. I cannot rate these highly enough.WORD OF WARNING: Take a look at the Salux website to see the difference between authentic and fake cloths. The fake cloths are hard, rough and are a very poor imitation of the real thing - these from Amazon are authentic. The real ones come in soft pastel colours, the fake ones tend to be bright garish colours and are very harsh to use.

Took 8 days to arrive from UK to Ireland. I'm customer of Salux from ages. Looks thin but clean properly. I work in dirty places,so Salux clean my body from oil. It's a hard material,so I don't recommend for people with sensitive skin or don't tolerate the hardness. From 1 to 10, I give a 10 and recommend this product 100%

Purchased these after reading some online recommendations. I have KP on my arms and tend to suffer from ingrown hairs as a result of waxing.These are amazing.My skin feels incredibly soft after use. Before, I would have exfoliated with those exfoliating gloves that are made of a similar material or with a physical sugar scrub, but these are far superior. They have more of a "scrub" to them that anything else I have tried and while it may sound odd, I almost feel cleaner and more refreshed after using these. Even my other half keeps commenting on how soft my skin is!Lotion seems to absorb far better and I need to use less on my chronically dry skin.I won't be sing anything else!

I received these cloths earlier this week and cannot recommend them highly enough - my skin is noticeably smoother already!! I am a total convert and cannot envisage ever using a sponge or loofah again.Do be careful - there are numerous copies/imitations around. They may be considerably cheaper but are made in China not Japan and are and 100% nylon, not a mixture of polyester and nylon (40/60) as are the originals.

This material is great, and exfoliates great. I’ve got bumps on my arms normally, but now they have gotten smoother! It’s a long piece of fabric, so you can reach your back and other difficult areas. What I do miss, however is a finish. A border around the fabric and perhaps loops to hold when using it on the back.
