This balaclava is outstanding. The seams are sewn in such a way that they are flat -- there is not a seam that fits uncomfortably against your head in anyplace.It fits fairly tight to the head which is perfect for keeping the wind from finding openings and getting to your skin. I used this product last winter (2008-2009) on 2 to 3 miles of walking a day to classes as a college student. We had a stretch of days in the single digits for highs with wind and a foot of snow on the ground. I was never warmer than when I wore this headliner.I liked it so much, that I bought one as a gift for my brother who just moved into a northern climate with much harsher winters. I think this product is outstanding and i highly recommend it to anyone who walks, bikes, etc. in the cold and wind.

Had one previously and that is why I bought another. Just a nice, thin, warm face protection for the brutal northeast winter we had in 14 and now again 15. As the Norwegians say, "there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes." This is good clothes.

This product is great for biking and fits PERFECTLY under a bike helmet. A must-have to keep head and ears/neck warm with temperatures below 60 F when biking. We wore this weekend under our helmets when it was 55 F out and found it a life-saver especially when the sun was behind the mountain side. Biking in cold weather without such a liner is a sure way to catch a bad cold a day or two later...

I thought this product was thicker material than what I received. Does break the wind but I don't believe it keeps the face warm enough and for a little tight.

This is a great face mask, it covers your entire face leaving no skin exposed!If its reallllllly cold this makes a great base layer underneath another face mask or balaclava.You can breath out of it fine, there was minimal moisture build up form my breath.I love of how thin yet warm this product is.Highly recommend!

Perfect for a snow camping trip. Kept my face nice and toasty after sundown until the sun broke through in the morning. Not too bulky so you can wear it to sleep it your snow camping or throw it under your normal gear or helmet in cold condition. Heat for keeping the chill off

I love to walk in all weather, this makes it possible. I have used in 20 deg temps and it does an excellent job protecting and keeping warm without bulkiness. This is a great price too!

I skiied five days in Alberta and one in Idaho during January and LOVED the headliner. I have zero hair so it is nice to have something between skin and Giro Helmet. My face was protected and avoided the usual chapping. My only complaint is the fogging of my glasses when I pull the face protection up. I probably have to figure out how to correct that problem or stop breathing.
