Great phone, great pictures
This phone is exactly what I was after. I've gone from using an S7, I just wanted a fast phone with a great camera and thats what it is. The pictures come out so good, mostly used on my dogs and I already have some great photos of them. Its also a good size, slightly bigger than the S7 but not too big! I got it in light blue, I was worried I'd get sick of the colour but its actually a really nice touch. Money well spent.

Small phone, brilliant product
One of the best Android phones I have used. This phone is a a good as the S20 plus but a lot cheaper. The camera is great and the screen is crisp and clear. The ability to change the refresh rate is another nice touch from Samsung. Personally I would get this phone over the S20 plus anytime.

Disappointed
I bought this phone because I wanted one that takes an sd card. It over heated on the first phone call. I hadn’t even loaded it with apps or many contacts at this point. It was a beautiful phone, perfectly packaged. Looked totally legitimate so I contacted Samsung and they kindly examined the phone free even though being an old model it was out of warranty. It turned out that the phone was not in fact new but had the wrong non original battery inside and had had a new screen. I therefore had it returned to me and Amazon refunded me the money. Amazon had offered to refund me from the start but as I really liked the look and specifications of this phone, I had wanted it repaired if possible. I was so shocked to find out that it was not a new phone but rather reconditioned. I could have bought a reconditioned one for half the cost. Needless to say I was very disappointed and haven’t risked buying a “new “ phone since.

Decent Upgrade
I upgraded from a three year old S9. S9 was a decent phone, good camera and great screen. Battery had begun to fail - lasting only 6 or 7 hours between charges on busy days. The screen got cracked early on as well, despite being wrapped in a good case, as the curved nature of it meant that a sideways drop was not going to end well. Have had Apple and HTC in the past, I am not particularly brand loyal. The S20 offers upgrades on the S9 in the following; - screen size. It goes from 5.8 to 6.2, while not changing the chassis size at all really. Bezels are gone, and it's all screen. It's great to have the pocketability of the S9 but more screen. I felt that the S20+ and the S20 FE were just too big - not in the hand, but in the pocket. Not important to many, but for me the marginal size difference (measured in mm after all) means better portability and I don't care about having a taller screen. - camera. The camera on the S9 is pretty good, but there is a decent upgrade on the S20. I shoot with DSLR when it matters, so I am not expecting much from a phone, but the camera produces nice images. - UI. The 120hz is just ok at first, but then you get used to it and it merges with the UI for a very smooth and fast experience. - less curve. The case offers much better protection. Not much change; - screen quality. Top notch, and the main reason I went for this model. - Expandable storage. This is handy, as 4k video takes up a lot of room, as do high-res pics and high-res music. - battery. It lasts a day and half (which, from memory, is what the S9 lasted, when new). This is fine, I am happy enough to charge it once a day to keep battery anxiety at bay. Downgrades - no headphone jack. This is disappointing - I have a nice set of cans which I now need an (admittedly cheap, but nonetheless annoying) adapter for. Or I go bluetooth, which is just too much tech (and too many radio waves directly into my brain) for me. - price!!! What the junk Samsung? The price when new was ridiculous. I bought at half the launch price - it is OK value at this price, but still has a lot of company - Oneplus and Google, and Samsung's own FE, not to mention Apple stuff. I reckon if you are spending half a grand on a phone, if you are not getting a masterpiece of miniature computer engineering, then forget it. I probably would have been happy with any of the handsets at that price point to be fair, but screen and expandable storage are what swung it for me. Ultimately; - This phone gives expandable storage, a great screen, great camera, nice UI, OK battery, very good size and not too many disadvantages. Price is well below launch now, so it offers decent value. Happy enough.

Good phone, great camera
Love the phone having changed over from an iPhone. Fingerprint reader doesn't always seem to work which is annoying but otherwise it's great. Good battery life and feels good in the hand.

What a disappointment!
I've been an iPhone user for 11 years. Having grown tired with Apple's very incremental annual updates, I finally decided to take the plunge and trade my iPhone X for a Galaxy S20. First impressions were brilliant. This was a premium looking and feeling phone with a beautiful screen. After spending some time fiddling around with what remains an overcomplicated and clunky user interface (iOS still has the edge on this) I was disappointed to find that my battery life simply wasn't lasting anywhere near as long as expected for a 4,000mAh battery. Reading online it seems that the advice was to give it a few days to configure. After a frustrating week, the battery was only giving me at most 5hrs of screen time. This was less than the 6-6.5hrs of screen time I was getting on my iPhone X. Unfortunately, the fix suggested by Samsung was to turn off many of the premium features that attracted me to the phone in the first place (high refresh rate, high resolution) For a flagship phone, this is simply not acceptable. It is alledged that many of the S20 handsets had been shipped with some sort of defect which Samsung were happy to replace but for me, a phone has to be 100% reliable from day one. If not, it's not worth the risk. There were a few other gripes I had with the phone too: Native apps are poor, as are Google's versions in comparison with iOS. Finding a decent Calendar app was particularly troublesome, as was a basic Reminders app. The camera was completely underwhelming. Popular apps (Instagram was particularly bad) are not properly optimized for the S20's screen aspect ratio or resolution. The fingerprint scanner was appalingly slow and buggy and I found the face unlock to be inferior to iPhone. Overall, the phone felt like it had been rushed into production and just like Apple, Samsung seem to be guilty of making very incremental updates to their phones year on year, simply to con you into upgrading to a phone that is barely any better than the last. I returned the phone over the faulty battery and have decided to stick with iPhone X until someone actually does something innovative.

Livraison rapide.
