The hunt is the reward.
My twin grandkids turned 6, and I needed to get them something that just said, "I'm thinking of you." I was surprised at how quickly they took to breaking out the dinosaur in the egg. They worked on this project for the rest of the evening, and continued after they woke up the next day. Now, once inside, the "game" was over, but this was the thing that had their attention for the next 40 hours or so. I've never seen a six-year have that much concentration on any project before. It, frankly, wasn't what I expected, but it really kept them busy!

10/10 Dino experiment!!!
If you’re a mom, GMA, aunt/ uncle!!! GETTTT THIS! Just go spend your $ on this. They will love it. I bought this for my little cousin and as you can see for yourself- he enjoyed himself (his facial expressions said it ALL)! Sorry- can’t show face. (Minor). I will say- use a garbage bag or tarp if you have one…. It makes a small (dust mess) nothing big. AND… yes….. please observe the little ones while doing this experiment. Overall we rate it a 10/10 experience

Very good product
My 4 y/o nephew LOVES THIS! It's a project for more than a day and does it with his parents for a couple of hours a day and he gets so excited when he's close to digging out a dinosaur. It can get dusty, do it on a cloth.

Fun but messy
I bought this for my five-year-old son for Christmas. He loved digging and finding all of the little treasures. It took him a couple days and I just let him dig on it as he wanted to until it was completed. He did get some help from his older siblings. The treasure itself is fun for the younger age, but it was easier for him to have an older child or adults helping him out. This is definitely a messy project. So just be ready for that. It comes with a little treasure chest to put all of your treasures in. He loves it! I am only taking off 1/2 a star because it seems like most of the little treasures are found on the outside. There was a huge chunk left and we weren’t sure if there is anything left in it. It may have lasted a little bit longer if there was stuff in the middle as well.

Fun activity but very messy
This was a fun toy, but be prepared it is MESSY! I purchased it as a birthday gift for a 6 year old boy and apologized to his parents for the mess it makes. It’s a great activity for kids and fun to search for the different treasures, but I’d recommend doing it outside in the driveway or grass as the filling is like chalk and not easy to clean up.

It’s been 2 days and my kids are still working on this egg. lol They are having a blast getting new ones out and seeing what they look like. Totally worth the price!!!

Grandchildren 3-6-8 yrs old had so much fun working to find the dinosaurs. Very good cards came with it explaining facts on each dinosaur. Highly recommend
