ComfyMed Premium Quality Back Brace CM-102M with Removable Lumbar Pad for Lower Back Pain Relief

I have lumbar radiculopathy which is very painful. This condition ended me up in the ER. Our insurance changed and a surgery copay to fix this would be way too expensive. I decided that I wanted to approach this conservatively. Please note that the night before this arrived, I was in a lot of pain. I asked for fast shipping so I could get this fast. When it arrived, I put it on. This back brace is high quality. I would not wear it next to the skin. I put a tshirt on and then put the brace on top of that. It wraps around back to front and stays with velcro, and then there are two rings in the front where you can adjust the tightness. Within just a few minutes of wearing it, the pain was down. Typically due to this condition I have not had good luck riding in cars, because the vibration of the road bothers my spine. Not so with the brace. I was able to drive 7 miles from my rural home into town and back home and the pain was way down. Almost imperceptible. When I took it off at night because you can't sleep with it at night, the pain was back. However, my physician prescribed pain reliever for overnight that works. The bottom line is that I, a patient with lumbar radiculopathy with some pretty bad pain, now view this brace as a partner in my conservative management of this condition. With my condition, my doctor advised against surgery. He saw the brace and said "that's a good thing to do". So I have his consent. Check with your doctor after you buy it. They are getting 5 stars because this is not flimsy. You can tell it is high quality and probably if this was durable medical equipment, it would cost 10 times as much. Let's just say they manufactured it like it should cost a lot more. I am very, very pleased with this product and it has truly helped my quality of life. They get an A plus!

This back brace is incredible. As a full time mother of 4 young kids, I constantly have severe back and waist pain. The moment I put it on, I felt a great support. After 2 hours, the pain from my waist disappeared! I now wear it whole day while I carry my babies, wash dishes, change diapers and all house chores... I feel much better at the end of the day! Mothers, please save your back and get one now! Oh and also, this brace is fashionable like a wide belt. I even wear it out with a cardigan to a dinner and no one can tell it’s a back support brace :)

I have been looking for a back support belt for my mum who suffers from siactic injuries for a long time. She had some sessions of physiotherapy in the past which did provide effective pain relief in a short term. But later on she had to rely on strong medication and prednisone injections on a regular basis.She also tried quite a few other belts but was not happy with any of them. Either the size doesn't fit as it claimed or it didn't give enough support.Out of curiosity, i bought this newly-listed belt for another trial. Quite surprisingly, both mum and i are astonished by its quality!! You put on the brace like a belt. You can just feel the premium thick fluffy and stretchy material is doing something to your body. After strapping up the outside elastic, you just feel like you are totally in another world. The belt doesn't roll. Very well-shaped front doesn't cause any discomfort to your abdomen yet the wide back of the belt with back bones inside gives you very strong support and tight feeling. Also one more thing worth mentioning is the steel ring takes it so much easier to put on and take off the belt. It is a very smart design.Anyway, mum is happy so i am very happy too. I'm 71, and I have multiple lumbar spine issues including severe spinal stenosis. I confess to being introvert and of a somewhat negative nature, and tend to wallow in my own self pity about what had I done to deserve this! (I was a Class One Soccer Referee in the UK). Then I checked out the back braces available on line, and couldn't help but notice the reviews published and the fact that in the main the product gets five stars from those who purchased the ComfyMed Brace. I went ahead and purchased one, and after just a couple of months, I'll willingly add my five stars to the list! My pain was generally at its worse when I first woke up in the morning, after a night of contorted spinal positions. I just cant sleep on my back which I know is the recommended way for spine sufferers, no matter how I try. I have the answer now for the anticipated pain when I wake up, and thats to reach for the ComfyMed Brace (after I get dressed.) This is like miracle to me. It nips the pain in the bud, and the pain is virtually gone within about 30 minutes! Its comfortable enough that I wear it all of the time, even sitting in an armchair in the evening; although I dont know that I neccesarily need to do that. I would recommend this product to anyone who's in my position, and who wants to avoid surgery.

Wayyyyyyy better than the first one I bought! In fact, this brace is great. I have lumbar stenosis and scoliosis which causes a lot of pain and instability in my spine. After one failed surgery, I am trying anything to avoid another surgery. The first brace I bought was too narrow, and too small even though I got the correct size according to the web page. That brace was basically useless. So, my hopes weren't too high. First of all I received an email with a link to a Youtube video for correct wear. WATCH it!!! Easy. Then I got the brace. Superb. construction and REAL support. It is wide enough to allow you to sit and move about, and infinitely adjustable. I am so pleased, and I am not easily pleased! I know it is not a cure all, but it will help to allow me to garden and walk for exercise. Keep doing your abdominal exercises and wear this for a few hours a day. I hope it works for all who are in pain.
