Excellent choice for replacing your MacBook pro speakers! They fit and sound amazing. If you follow a how to video, it's fairly simple to do. I accidentally pushed in one of the speakers and the right sides a little muffled, my fault, so definitely do that! But highly recommend.

They work. Clearly, they're not directly from Apple, but they fit, they connect properly and they work MUCH better than the original speakers in there.

Sound quality is good, the only “problem” that I had installing it was, that, the connecting cable was longer and not so flexible as the original, anyway, I was able to installed and is working

The right speaker and subwoofer is pretty easy to replace, but the left speaker requires removal of the logic board. If you are not comfortable with ribbon cables, I would not recommend as there are many that are very fragile and tiny. Audio cables pull off from the top. The iSight camera slides out, I used a small flathead to assist, do not pull on it. Take your time, watch a YouTube tutorial, if you are confident, overall it's not too difficult. Speakers seem to be decent quality however my right side speakers got stuck together in the shipping packaging and there is some rubbery gunk in my subwoofer which scares me because that is what broke on my OE speakers. I was able to pull it apart and reseat the insulation but the gunk remains on the subwoofer speaker cone because I didn't want to mess with it. In the end it all works. One note is that the speaker wires are noticeably thinner than the OE speakers. Not unexpected for cheap parts but something to note. Also, the screwdrivers I received with the kit were awful. Smaller drive than they should have been and not as pictured. I used my own as the drive was too small for the logic board and fan screws.

As far a an apple device installation goes, these are pretty easy to install. You'll have to review the installation on Youtube a few times. It's a little difficult around the right speaker, because of short wire length on the part of Apple, and you have to remove the microphone from it's adhesive base, but there's no replacement adhesive to put it back. Even the instructions I found on YouTube omitted the part about putting the mic back.

I replaced the right speaker on my Late 2011 MBP 13" laptop. It sounds 100 times better than the old one. Unfortunately, I popped the connector off the motherboard and paid $60 to repair it. Thanks Roytech of Brooklyn, NY. After that, I left the left speaker intact. There are 10 times more connections to loosen to access the left speaker than the right one.

The speakers worked perfectly, now I don't need to connect my bluetooth speaker to listen to commentary and follow tutorials. But I installed only one speaker, the left one. The reason being the right one was too complicated (have to take the motherboard out) and then it needs a special type of screw driver which I did not have so left it out. With the left speaker, I have no problem probably because it comes with two components, speaker and woofer and that's why perhaps it more powerfuly. So you can save money just buy the left one. I did try both my speakers before replaced and both had the same deteriotation, that is both lost the volume. The right speaker is still siting with me and I am not feeling the need to put it in.

Instructions were easy to find and I was able to repair my macbook. There are lots of tiny screws so keep a partitioned bowl to put them into to minimize mixing them up.

The speakers are just the right size and fit perfectly. They even come with pre-installed adhesive tapes, which make them easy to install. However, there is a significant issue with the connector for the right speaker and subwoofer combo. It's not an exact match to the OEM one and can be very difficult to plug in completely. At one point, I even considered using hot glue for a more permanent solution. Additionally, the wires are a little too long, which makes it complicated to route them in the chassis. However, I was ultimately able to sort everything out. The speakers have decent sound quality - the sound is good and the volume is more than sufficient.
